Nurses are pen snobs. Given the jobs we do, having a perfect writing instrument is one of the best ways to reward ourselves. This is my new favorite. After 40 years (I started with a 3-color pen for shift charting), I’ve tried a lot of ink pens. Pilot has long had my loyalty, but this one surpasses them all. When you’re writing in small spaces and need precision, you need a pen that has both bold ink and a thin line. While most extra fine pens are scratchy, to my delight this one lays down ink as smooth as glass. And nary a smudge in sight. Take care with applying force; its needle-like tip will perforate the paper effortlessly. IMHO the best pens come from Japan.

This is my daily pen and it is absolutely fantastic. It has not smeared ever and writes very smooth. The thickness allows me to write extremely small and looks very clean.

Feels good to write with, Ink is highly legible due to the deep black color, and doesn't smear. I enjoy the smaller barrel design, and usually find larger barrels a bit flimsy. The Juice Up is an absolute winner; my favorite mass-market pen.

Currently my favourite pen for everyday. I have repurchased and even tried the 0.3(a little too thin for my taste). Love the golden and pigment of the black. Would love if it was more highlighter/liner friendly. If you wait a while after writing it’s no problem but if you highlight right away it will smudge a bit. Overall the ease do use and glide have made these my favourite pens for writing and even doodles/drawings.
