Drill a pilot hole!
The screws these come with will definitely require a pilot hole, they simply aren't self-tapping. The pack of feet doesn't come with instructions so you'll either need to remember that from reading the description or possess handyman knowledge/skills.The plastic the feet are made from is very hard so I decided not to use them after all for my intended application. I was concerned that their small size and rigid nature would ultimately result in divots in a wood floor when used with very heavy furniture. But, they look completely fine for other things like wooden plant stands so I am setting them aside for future use.

Absolute trash, ruins furniture
The screws are not as pictured, they are absolute garbage, they impossible to screw-in, they strip almost immediately, and if they don't strip then they snap. Cheap trash - do NOT buy if your value your time, furniture, and/or money.

Hard plastic furniture pads
The TTZEZE Heavy Duty Nail-on ABS Plastic Pad came with screws, which was better for me. I refurbished some end tables and used these under each leg. They are a hard plastic with no give and are not squishy. They are kind of tall and add 10 mm to the height of the tables. The included screws are sufficiently long for the size of the pads. The glossy sheen matches the painted stone on the top of the end tables.

Terrible Screws
Buyer Beware: I managed to break 4 screws (3 pictured). They are made of a cheap alloy. I hand screwed them. When I tried a power dril I stripped the head. The plastic feet are okay but use your own screws. Now that I look at the listing again, the screws received are not the ones pictured. I imagine they swapped out cheaper screws to save a few nano-cents.
