The Little Red Cat Who Ran Away and Learned His ABC's (the Hard Way)

Unexpected ABC Book!
This is such a clever ABC book! I was delighted with the illustrations and the twists and turns the book took -- some very unexpected. Each page introduces a new letter in ABC order, but it also tells an adventure story along the way. I can see preschoolers on up enjoying this book and I am excited to share it with my first graders after the holiday break.

This is one of the best alphabet books I have seen (and as the mom of two, I have seen a lot of them). The story and drawings are so funny that the book is fun for all ages. I highly recommend it! Bravo!!

I really liked this book
I really liked this book, however, it was a gift and when it arrived I figured out that it was a little immature for a 2-1/2 year old who already knows quite a bit of the alphabet. I personally would have liked a little more words so you can read the story/book in addition to guessing the word meaning of each letter and using the legend to find out the author's answers. Cute book but it just wasn't right for my situation and I would not order it again for another gift for another child.

JOIN THE FUN
PATRICK MCDONNELL IS A TREASURE AND THE LITTLE RED CAT IS ONE OF MY GRANDSON’S (2) FAVORITE BOOKS. IT IS FUN, FUNNY AND A LITTLE ZANY. BUT MOST IMPORTANT, IT HAS HEART. OH AND YOU LEARN THE ABC’S TOO. WHAT A BARGAIN! SMILE.

Cute and creative book
Picture book allows you to narrate the story yourself. Creative way to teach letters and letter sounds.

Love Story-Lines with Alphabet Books
Can you believe that this school year is coming to an end? At the end of this month, I will have Ginny going into 6th grade, Miles going into 4th grade, and Mason going into 2nd. Next school year will be my last school year with Cassie home with me. I love teaching my kids especially before they head to school. So Cassie and I have been working hard on learning our ABCs. This book was one that read that of course has so many different characters. I love how they use the alphabet in this book and that its actually a story-line. Instead of common alphabet books which is just a letter with the words that go with that letter. This book actually has a story-line. The illustrations in this book could be more fun and really go with the story. But I have finally the author/illustrator wanted the words to tell the story not the picture. But I find with preschoolers and younger they need pictures to keep their attention. I was able to keep Cassie's attention by reading this book in silly ways. I do like this book and I recommend everyone check it out.

Very clever storyline using ABC's. Gave to a neighbor who is due any day. She wanted books to read to the baby so she could remember the folks who care about her.

Ilustraciones divertidas
