Excellent Value For Money - Works Perfectly 520Mbps
Needed a new antenna to replace a damaged one from an Asus ROG Strix Motherboard. So, after a little bit of searching, found this one for £11 !! ( Asus wanted £25 for a genuine replacement ! )There's no fancy packaging, just arrived in a plastic bag & some tie-wraps on the cable. It's actually a bit smaller than expected, but that's OK. I've attached some photos to show the product and it's real connection speed. It's just as good as the original Asus antenna. Considering the signal source / hub is two rooms away through two solid brick walls, it received the WiFi perfectly. The connection speed on the PC show 520Mbps, and a Speedtest.net test shows 233Mbps download & 36Mbps upload which is actually faster the original Asus one ! Great. Couldn't be happier with it. Comes with a fairly long cable terminated with brass connectors and a little bit of heat-shrink sleeving for strain relief. It's two halves spin around to give you a L-shaped stand too. Also, I'm not sure if the listing states this, but, it's also magnetic on the rear side, so could be attached to your PC case if needed ( see it magnetized to my steel ruler )All in all, a real bargain.

Just what I was looking for
Purchased as a like-for-like replacement of my existing antenna which I have attached to my Maximus Code IX MoBo and it has slotted in exactly as I had hoped. It looks near enough identical to my existing antenna and has all of the same characteristics too.I am still having an intermittent issue with my Wi-Fi, which is partially why I bought this as a replacement, but that isn't the new antenna's fault as I already had that problem with my old antenna.Overall, very happy with the new antenna and can suggest to anyone looking to replace an old ASUS dual twist-lock antenna.
