Works well as far as straightening hair, but found it difficult to hold without bumping the on/off switch.

I love the way it fits in my hands. It gets hot really fast and is easy to use. My hair needs a good straightener and this is it!!!

I am revising this review because I spoke too soon. I've had this straightener for over a month now and was going to use it for the very first time tonight. Now the day that it arrived, I did turn it on and touched the plates to see if it was warming up and it was indeed getting warm. I turned it back off and thought how much I liked the way that it fit in my hand. I have naturally curly hair and have just been going with that for the past while, but today I wanted to go with straight hair and was excited to use my new hair straightener for the first time. Well, it would not even turn on, would not light up, nothing! My hopeful self unplugged it and took it to another outlet and tried it there. Once again it would not turn on. I already threw the box in the trash a couple of weeks ago because I thought the thing worked. After all, it did turn on one time, the first day when it arrived. It has not been dropped and no one has touched it. It has laid on my vanity ever since it arrived. To say that this hair straightener is a dud would be an understatement. So, I lost my money and have a hair straightener that will not even turn on! I'm not happy about this.

didn't seem to heat up as my other straight irons but everyone doesn't like them really hot... it is a nice one though

I received my item in great condition. I love the 60 minute shut off. It only takes about 10 seconds to heat up which is really quick. I also love the color. I also locks and unlocks. I have lots of flat irons and this by far is the best one that I have. I am so glad that I purchased it. This is an awesome flat iron and I recommend that you purchase.

I have never used a straightener before. This is extremely easy to use and does its job beautifully.
