Please make sure you remove the plastic from the pre-installed filter. Runs well. Runs on its own. I don't even notice its on sometimes. It fits into a corner. Not sure how to measure its effectiveness. Nice design, not too big.

This filter was purchased because we got a new dog that sheds a bit. This air filter is a great value and an awesome investment if you have a pet that sheds. The filter picks up the dog hair and cleanly pushes out clean air. It's not loud, unless you have the fan all the way up. auto/pet mode is perfect.

We bought one last year to help clean up pet smells in our home, and it’s very effective. I love that it has an auto feature. It definitely works because it turns on high when I start cooking. We loved it so much we bought another for our bedroom that only has one window and doesn’t get much airflow. The fan started to make a noticeable squeaking noise after less than a month, however Nikki with AMEIFU customer support was very helpful and offered to send me a replacement under warranty. Really appreciate it!
