Solid. No gimmick tuning fork.
Tapped it on hard wood surface and put it up against my head behind my ear. It resonates long enough to get a good aural grasp of pitch. In my opinion, it beats the electronic competition hands down.

A very decently made, sturdy tuning fork from a long established company. I have a number of stringed instruments, all have an A string, whatever about the rest, so to move away from my battery tuners etc., this is a nice, easy way to tune up.I haven't test the A440Hz accuracy but to be honest, life is too short and as a hobbyist musician, as far as I can see from tuning already (electronically tuned) instruments, this is spot on. A little cloth bag wouldn't go amiss but that's easy to sort out, oneself."All art aspires to the condition of music." - Happy playing folk!
