Thinx (BTWN) Shorty Period Underwear for Teens, Cotton Underwear that Holds Up to 5 Tampons, Feminine Care

So I'm an adult, but saw these on sale for a great price. I got some for myself and the bikini style for my daughter. She's still uncomfortable using the reusable stuff, this is new to her but she said they are very comfy and fit good. She might not try them anytime soon but I wanted something for back up considering the crazy lately.The bikini style was a little to tight around the midsection for me but these shorty's were great! The elastics on them are different. Perfect stretch and waistband so that they weren't to tight but still feel like they'll stay up. I usually size up my underware and look for specific styles so the waistband is loose, I was worried these might be to tight as they are designed for someone young but they were great! No muffin top, no cutting into my c section belly. I can't attest to how well they work yet, but they seem like they'll hold up well. The crotch area is substantially thicker than the rest but not so thick that it feels uncomfortable. It feels like it will absorb well, but I'll have to update after trying them out. I wear a medium in women's sizes, but usually opt for a large if the waistband seems tighter and the 15/16 in these fit me perfectly.I'm 5' tall and about 125lbs so slightly petite.

I bought these for my 11-year-old who had some spotting at school recently.My friend who is a pediatric nurse practitioner recommended the underwear.At first I scoffed because my kid has some sensory issues and I was afraid she would feel like she was wearing a diaper.But no way was I sending my daughter in just a panty-liner, waiting for the possible flood gates to open… all while she was wearing a khaki school uniform!The product was pricey, but all other brands specified they had to be worn with a pad. How was that supposed to help??Now my kid doesn’t think about her period possibly coming. She said she barely feels any difference in these underwear.She has enough stress in middle school without having to worry about one other thing. Plus now she doesn’t have to wear a purse to conceal her “just in case” pads.A+++. Totally worth the investment.

Good for my first period panty purchase. Worked as I expected, from the reviews I read and the brand. They were really comfortable beside the semi-tight wait band, expected from teen sizes. Wore it on my light days and wasn't noticeable wet.

Good for night time use on lighter nights, use with back up on heavier nights such as pads. 9/10 fits my 13 year old. Use hip measurement to get accurate sizing. A good product for teens. Hand wash and dry in sun. The brief style are good for day time use. The shorty pants are for nights.

It is too much loose on the legs area. Is not for skinny girls.

My daughter tried this on a lighter day and the flow spilled out the sides and literally sat on the material. She does not have heavy menses. Disappointing. I use the adult version extra super whatever the highest absorption is and i don't even need backup. And i am diagnosed with heavy menses and anemia. I would not buy any more and may see if the smalleat adult version fit her.
