I'm into Nootropics and brain function/health. I have dementia in my family history. Although my genes seem to be okay, and I do have a gene that seems to be present in people who do not develop dementia even if they have many genes that are pro dementia.... I am still dealing with regular brain fog, and daily functionality challenges. We are all expected to be so fast these days and we also have to achieve this level of amazing with fewer toxins. I do not like caffeine. So, I have started using NMN and other supplement blends that can and often do show a result in as little as a few days and then some within an hour of taking it. This product is more of a three to five day timeline, to notice a shift. If you are not doing things that show an obvious measure of your mental fitness on a given day, then you'll likely not notice anything. Likewise, if you are really bright and high functioning most of the time, you probably will not have a noticeable shift. I do have challenges, mostly due to an issue with frequent migraines and the brain fade in the wake of those things. This is not the only product I use to help me with my brain processing quality, so it can take a while for me to evaluate new supplements, away from other similar products. This product, like others from this company/brand, is a functional quality.I do what I can to boost my brain function, and since youtube started promoting NAD+ and NMN, for anti aging and brain health, I have paid attention. It is SUPER expensive, but I am hoping that the prices come down. Something about this brand, it is being promoted by doctors who are a part of fullscript, so you can save that way. My doctor subscribes and prescribes through fullscript and I found out about this brand through my doctor. So far the probiotic, Pro Biospore, and a few other products have been obviously and specifically effective for me and my health concerns/challenges. That is the only reason why I noticed this product and decided to try it. As a value online, this price is actually competitive for what is listed on the label. Hopefully as we move along, prices should level out and be more kind to our wallets. It's crazy how expensive things are. This combination of supplements is still relatively new on the market and it is super pricey.5 stars

This gave me severe stomach cramps, almost to where I thought I needed to go to the hospital. I’m not sure what was in it but something in it had this effect on me I had to discontinue taking it.

DFH is a premium-priced brand which rests on name alone for quality assurance. The claim to use Niagen in this product which, taken at face value, offers some early evidence of ability to improve NAD levels. For what that is worth. We do know that NAD drops off with aging, likely related to increased CD38 activity. Whether supplementing to increase NAD levels is of any value really still remains yet undetermined, but mechanistically it would make sense. This appears to be true in rodent models, but not clear yet in humans. Hence, based on that assumption Niagen is a reasonable choice to achieve that goal. Ubiquinone also decreases with age but, again, supplementing has really no proven benefit that I am aware of unless you are on a statin (and if you are, why???). The final ingredient, Geranylgeraniol GG, I have no idea about. I am not familiar with it and have seen no evidence of any benefit.For all of that you pay $88 for a month supply. I get these free as a trial, but I would not pay that much for something with such little evidence of benefit. I do like to experiment, though. Such experimentation will only be useful for subjective, short-term effects, which is unlikely for a product such as this. Anyway, with all that said, you still really do not know what is actually in any supplement unless there is verified third party testing, and DFH never seems to offer that one simple quality assurance. For this reason I can never give their products greater than 4 stars. I would always go with a product that has been verified. There is simply too much shenanigans in the nutraceutical industry.Final word - while human benefit remains unclear, safety is pretty well established for niagen and ubiquinol. Not sure about the Geranylgeraniol GG. HOWEVER, none of the testing included pregnant women. I saw the pregnant lady review and I am concerned about that. In that situation there is no safety data and you are really flying on faith. Also during reproductive age you likely would not need anything to boost your NAD. Just my public service announcement.

I have been taking quite a few different supplements from “Designs for Health” over the last 2 years. It is a manufacturer I feel like I can trust. They are based in the USA and all the manufacturing takes place in the USA. Their facility is GMP certified which means the product is a very high-quality and pure.I am always amazed by the smell of products from “Designs for Health”. Their products smell really fresh. (I have a really good sense of smell).What I really like about this product is it also includes a good, high dose of CoQ10. It is a perfect balance with the NAGEN and GG-GOLD.NAGEN is nicotinamide riboside chloride which helps to raise NAD+ levels which helps with metabolism at a cellular level.GG-GOLD is Geranylgeraniol which can help with muscle pain and weakness.CoQ10 is an antioxidant.The combination of these 3 ingredients is perfect for older people (like me). It helps your body at a cellular level. I have been taking CoQ10 for years and this is a great option because it also includes those other two beneficial ingredients.I take one of these in the morning and one at night. They recommend taking 2 capsules per day and I like to split that dose between AM and PM.This is definitely a 5-star product from a very reputable manufacturer. Well worth the money for sure!!!
