I purchased these because I had just bought a PlayStation and didn’t want everyone in the house to hear me. The ear pads are super comfortable and the top cushion helps keep pressure off of the top of my head. I love that this is a usb wireless connection so I can just plug and play instead of having to set up a Bluetooth connection. The mic is very sleek and love that it interfaces with the PlayStation so when it’s folded up my mic is off and it turns on when you fold it down without having to mess with any settings. Also like that the volume control is a physical turn dial on the headphones themselves so I’m not constantly having to use a remote or press buttons constantly. The battery life seems to be good. I’ve played probably around 20ish hours before recharging and they still weren’t dead then. I will say that, because the ear cushions are large and comfortable, they do look a bit weird so I wouldn’t wear these in public. The sound quality is also great. I play COD and when people are walking behind me in the game it actually sounds like the person is behind me. This is very helpful with gaming.

My fiance had used her pair of 600s for a few years, and gave them to me when she upgraded to the 700s.I used them for about a year before they finally died and became unusable (im talking electrical tape on the top, connection issues, etc. I did not buy a replacement until these things literally crapped out on me).Instead of getting a different brand as a replacement, we just went ahead and got me this pair again! Hoping for the same quality and longevity as the first pair! So far, everything is BRILLIANT! The moment I put on the new pair it was like a breath of fresh air so to speak. Wonderful sound control, great noise canceling, even when off. 10/10 Would recommend.

I DON’T USUALLY LEAVE REVIEWS BUT THIS HEADSET PERFORMS SO POORLY I FELT I HAVE TO! I’ve owned nothing but turtle beach since about 2009 (MW2,BO1 era) and have always loved them up until this point. Not that the past matters but just as a background to support my review Ive owned turtle beach headsets way back to my ps3. These headsets had great quality with unmatched audio performance. They USED to be top notch headsets. My PS3 headset had never skipped a beat, so I continued supporting turtle beach up until now. I’ve owned 2 of these stealth 700s for my PS5 and I can honestly say you should RUN THE OTHER DIRECTION! Sad to see the once great turtle beach has fallen so far. My first 700 worked well as far as sound quality, connectivity, and battery life, HOWEVER. Approx a year and a half after purchasing. The headset cracked just above the adjustment slide (was never dropped, and always hung up after use). I continued to use it until it completely snapped (couple weeks later) then it became unusable. Up until this point it was a pretty good headset as far as battery life and sound quality so I (regrettably) decided to buy another one (the one I’m leaving the review on). Let me tell you it’s been an absolute NIGHTMARE of a headset. First 2 months were ok but since then I’ve had nothing but connectivity issues. It randomly disconnects and sometimes will not let you reconnect until the next day! (Obviously extremely annoying when you come home from work and want to enjoy a game for a couple hours before bed and most of it’s consumed by trying to make your headset work again!) I figured it’d just be an update issue or it’d pass but sadly that has not been the case. The headset has been up to date and I’ve had increasing amount of connectivity issues with this JUNK headset. It’s been getting worse as of late as far as turning off randomly (extremely frustrating mid game session) and just today I was using it and it completely disconnected and after an hour and a half of trouble shooting I have been able to reconnect. Multiple resets, gone through settings as well as trouble shooting guides and nothing has allowed me to reconnect it. As you can probably suspect I’m so sick of trying to troubleshoot this absolute disaster of a product that I’ve finally given up. I have ordered a PS headset as a replacement in hopes I won’t have as much of a headache with that one, as I’ve had with the stealth 700. I wish I could give a better recommendation of a headset but I sadly cannot and I will not as I haven’t used any others, best I can give is DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A TRASH TURTLE BEACH AS I HAVE!!! I completely understand s**t happens as well as manufacturing defects but twice with the same customer?!? This is absolutely unacceptable! My best advice is do more research into top rated headsets and not to blindly follow a brand (like I did) In the off chance turtle beach sees this your engineering dept needs some serious help, and may even need to be walked out the front door of your company if they care that little about your product’s functionality, as well as your quality control. From other reviews I’ve seen online I’m not the only one whose had issues with your products. I genuinely hope you can rectify the lack of quality in your newest products and are able to restore the name you had once built but I will not be returning to find out after I’ve spent +$300 in less than 3 years on your products. ONCE AGAIN DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY AS I HAVE, LOOK FOR A BETTER ALTERNATIVE, THESE ARE NOT WORTH ANYWHERE NEAR WHAT THEY CHARGE!!!
