The media could not be loaded. So far - it’s the first day of use on top of my wood-burner - the fan is quiet and effective, and I certainly feel that the heat is better distributed around the space than without it.A worthwhile purchase, not expensive and strongly recommended.(The attached video doesn’t help much, I’m afraid.)

Had been putting off buying a stove fan for quite a few years now, but finally decided to take the plunge as we recently felt that there were cold spots in the room and I felt that most of the heat was been wasted going up the chimney.I decided on the Von Haus fan purely on the fact that it had good reviews and is was cheap enough not to matter too much if it proved to be a white elephant!The fan seems well built and operation couldn't be easier, simply take it out the box and put it on the stove!It starts working very quickly and to my surprise and despite my reservations it definitely distributes the warm air around the room and creates a much more balanced heat environment.My one tip tip to anyone using one is wait until your fire is hot before using it, as it is so effective it blows the cold air at you until the stove gets up to temperature!

The media could not be loaded. I was sceptical like many. The science made sense. I did not expect the impact to be so large. There is a 1.5 degree C change in room temperature due to this little product.Reason for not giving 5 stars- the sound - tiny whiny sound. It’s giving me a headache! I didn’t know if there is any point in changing it with another brand. But this product type works and it is very effective.Final thoughts:Air flow- good. I don’t want more than this.Speed- good. Do t see the point in more than this.Noise level- not so good. I may end up returning g only due to this factor.Effectiveness- super good. Did not expect it.

Decent for the price, it’s not particularly quiet but enough not to be annoying. It circulated the air so yes it works well, looks good quality and isn’t too noisy. I’d buy it again.

La verdad es que se pone en marcha solo, no entiendo muy bien como funciona sin pilas, pero la cosa es que en cuanto se calienta la encimera de la estufa, se pone en marcha, se mueve muy rápido (como un ventilador eléctrico) y es muy silencioso.Al mover el aire justo por encima de la estufa, hace que la habitación se caliente antes. Es un chisme maravilloso.Eso si, para dormir lo suelo quitar, porque produce un ligero ronzio, un ruido imperceptible por el día pero que a quien como yo tiene el sueño ligero puede molestar (es que duermo con la estufa a lado de la cama :-)
