We went to the beach not too long ago, and despite the fact that there were children running about and sand flying over it, it remained functional without being soiled. For instance, when we were out on a lengthy trek the previous weekend, we stopped for lunch. Instead of sitting on uneven ground, I immediately spread out the blanket and helped everyone choose a comfortable location to sit. Because I can use the stakes to secure it to the ground and not have to worry about it flying away, the pockets and loops are especially useful when the wind is blowing. On a variety of surfaces, including grass, rocky soil, and even moist ground after a shower, the material has shown to be durable, despite the fact that it is quite lightweight. Even though I anticipated that it would show some signs of wear after being used on more rugged terrain, it still seems to be in the same condition as when I initially unpacked it. Even after folding and unfolding it several times, the stitching seems to be strong, and I have not seen any fraying or weakening in the fabric. Because of this, I am certain that it will continue to function normally over a great number of journeys in the future.

Water resistant but not completely waterproof. You will get a wet butt on wet grass. They fit loosely into their bags so it’s not hard to fold them up but the bags are bigger than the bearz brand so if you like it to be extra compact, get the bearz ones. Also, the bearz ones ARE completely waterproof. They have a visible coating that these do not. The bearz ones are more expensive especially because you have to order the stakes separately but it’s worth it if you want something compact and completely waterproof. Both are about the same weight and size I think. The bearz bags are just smaller so they are more compacted in there.

This blanket is really great. It’s light and small, easy to carry around. There’s enough space for everyone. Sand doesn’t stick and it doesn’t get wet. The stakes keep it in place on windy days. I take it everywhere — to the beach, a picnic, or a walk.

The price was great and beats other options. Perfect size for 2 and plenty of space. Quality of the blanket is good but the bag was defective. The string came off since the sewing was off. Not heavy at all so easy to transport. It was thick enough to seat comfortable on grass.

Mini packable waterproof ground layer. This will be great for hubby and his hiking camping trips. It weighs next to nothing, is very small to fit in a bag, and it comes with a carabiner so it can hang from his pack or belt loop or anywhere! Laying it under a sleeping bag will keep him dry as well. I like the stakes to keep it from flying in the wind.

It's foldable, light weight, and the stakes are a good quality. The blanket feels like parachute material. It's very thin and definitely not water resistant . I used this to sit on grass on a sunny day. The dew on the grass came through and made my pants very damp. This blanket is good for dry sand. I would not recommend it for grass or wet sand. Water comes through very easily.

Excellent blanket. Sturdy pegs to hold it down. Has a pouch. Great to pack and it is nice looking. Highly recommend
