I was very excited to get this swivel to replace the one on my small barrel chair like the one in the product picture. It literally lasted less than three weeks and bearings started to fall out. Did not work for me. No one in my family is heavy. Not sure why it did not last.

Made a stationary chair able to rotate

This item has a robust design and appears well made. It doesn't come with instructions, but in reality you kind of have to figure out the best mounting method to fit the bottom of your recliner's design. If the bottom platform of your chair isn't a straight fit, you'll have to drill your own holes or even provide a metal or wood interface between the two. I used a piece of quality 3/4" wood to easily make a platform interface between the recliner and swivel. It's not hard. Use quality wood and fasteners. Also be careful your fasteners aren't too long or have too big a head on the nuts or bolts that they make contact when swiveling the chair. This isn't hard to avoid, but if you aren't watching, the fasteners can make contact if they're too big. Be aware that a bigger/taller/thicker piece of wood for an interface method of attachment does raise the chair level. None of this was hard, but some instructions with some variable methods of attachment would be nice. I found a good YouTube vid that fit the style of this swivel and my chair. The only reason for the 4 instead of 5 was the lack of instructional options for attachment. As far as durability, only time will tell for sure, but the chair and swivel work seamlessly and seem very stable.

This is great: saved two otherwise good leather swivel chairs from being thrown out. I had put wheels on the chairs when the previous swivels had broken, but the wheels did not hold up. Found these swivels, checked the size: perfect. With just a few screws: voila! Enjoying the chairs all over again.

Producto muy recomendado! Antes de adquirir este producto pensaba deshacerme de mis sillones muy cómodos para comprar otros nuevos que sean giratorios, pero este producto me cambió totalmente todo! Gracias a él, me quedé con mis sillones que tanto me gustan y ahora giran en 360 grados. Además de que el vendedor me ayudó con todas mis dudas en el proceso de aduanas (yo no había proporcionado todos mis datos de manera inicial) hasta que quedara resuelto, el producto es de material muy resistente y al instalarlos los sillones quedaron de maravilla! En mi caso solo requerí instalarles unas tablas de madera en la parte inferior para poder agarrar este soporte pero eso no fue complicado. Quede muy satisfecho con este producto y de ser necesario en algún futuro, los volvería a comprar. Desafortunadamente no tengo fotos para mostrar pero lo recomiendo demasiado, y además ahorran mucho dinero evitando comprar otros muebles solo para que giren.
