Absolutely love the filter. You really can taste the difference to the tab water. Easy to install! Highly recommend to any one who is still wasting money buy water bottles and wasting hundreds of $$$ and time getting them from a retailer.

I live in an apartment in an area where the water is, well, not good! I have been buying bottle water for a while now because I refuse to drink the brownish water that comes out of the facet. Nasty! I had a similar product at my last apartment that cleaned up the water to where it was drinkable and I was looking to replicate that experience. My last one had a dedicated facet so I had to drill a whole in the actual sink to be able to use the filtered water. What I really like about this water filter is it's designed to use your existing facet so no need to a dedicated facet which means no holes to drill in the sink. And I have to say, installing this filter was super simple and super easy to use. Once installed and in order to actually get filtered water you simply use the cold water knob or set it to the coldest setting if it's all in one like mine, and you get completely filtered water. I have read a previous review about this filter and I saw complaints about the lack of water pressure when the water goes through the filter. I can say I don't see the same issues that I saw reported. Yes there is a decrease in pressure but by only like 5% at most. It's barely noticeable. As a matter of fact the only way I notice it is when I first run the hot water and then switch it to cold but again, it's barely noticeable. The quality of water that this filter produces is so much better than what I had without the filter. I know can drink from the tap (on cold) where I wouldn't ever do that before. The water tastes better and looks better.. And for me, an apartment dweller, this was a cheap solution to whenever I decide to move, I won't feel guilty if I decide to leave this filter behind for the next tenant. I'm pretty cheap though so when that day comes, I'll probably take it with me

Update: I added a star due to their attentive support and their initial replacement for a potentially defective filter. I am starting the timer on the replacement to see if it lasts past its recent 1/6th timespan. If it gets to twice that (8 months) it would still be worthwhile, but better yet if more than a year or closer to their stated rating (2years) since our city water has no sediment issues. For what it does and how easy it was to install, this is one of the better options currently available. There was a taste that was hard to pin down. Even after flushing it for many minutes and gallons. It was better than tap for sure, but definitely not bottled water taste. I would not call it bad as it was not odorous, but rather an aftertaste that was different and unexpected. It has mostly subsided after several weeks. I am unsure if that is a personal taste issue as my other family members did not consider it a problem. However ... The filter had a wonderful flow for several months. Compared to all other basic single filtration options it is more cost effective if it were to last as long as advertised. After four months the filter has slowed the water flow to a quarter of the original. The difference was like filling up a coffee pot in 10 seconds and now it takes 30. When I finally got around to calling (after waiting for it to fix itself for some weeks :)), I have to say that their support is extremely attentive and friendly. The first recommendation was confirm the flow was in the right direction which (of course) was installed in the correct order. They then asked to reverse the flow and I found that was easy to do because the push snap connector could plug in reverse easily enough (after turning off the water line :)). That reverse flow seemed back to normal speed and I was asked to run for 10 minutes to flush any potential blockage. I then again reversed the flow and ran it back in normal order for another 10. Everything then seemed to work for a while. The next day the flow was back to ... slow. The technician is persisting that a filter lifespan is dependent on water quality and I can absolutely agree with that asessment. Our household has had single use filters for years and their lifespans have always been on target, so I expect any normal filter system to be the same. I am getting a one-time replacement filter to see if this fixes the problem and I am hopeful. If the time improves dramatically (i.e. double) under good city water quality conditions (like from 4-5 months to 8-10 months or more) then this product is exactly as advertised. I will have to remember to update this at that time. Updated after 8 months of replacement: The filter is showing signs of slowing down but the waterflow is still acceptable. My family noticed that the water quality is slightly changed but not to a state where it would be considered bad (i.e. smell and taste are not offensive to indicate a concern). It appears that the life cycle of this filter for our area will be manageable at 8-10 months as I anticipated and hopefully this brand will continue to be around so as not to have to change the plumbing once again.

We had a small issue with our first water filter. However, the customer service at Waterdrop was great. They fixed our issue right away and even continued with follow-up emails to make sure we were satisfied. The item itself was easy to install and appreciate the ease of the entire process. Last but not least, the water tastes great!
