Stays on zero shot after shot
I have this sight mounted on my custom-built AR. 16" barrel. There are magnification options to pick from and I went with the 3X. I zeroed it to 100 yards and have ran almost 300 rounds through the gun. I have not had to adjust it once. Shooting at 200 yards is very good with the 3X but the 10X would be better at that. The optic is very and because it is a prism sight and not a red dot it works with or without power. I usually leave it turned off. A prism sight is etched glass so there is no center dot flaring or fuzziness. For all the expensive optic options out there, this one competes with them hands down and won't break the bank. you will not be disappointed

These are adequate, just “OK”
I read hateful angry reviews about this brand from neck-bearded keyboard warriors. Usually reviews lacking any semblance of punctuation and/or typed in all caps, but I digress. This optic is compact compared to Monstrum’s 1st gen prism, but is similar in size to offerings from Primary Arms or Vortex. I own a Vortex Spitfire 1x 2nd gen and a Primary Arms 2x 9mm ACSS, and they are both clearer and slightly brighter than this Monstrum. BUT the Monstrum is 1/2 to 1/3 the cost of the other two. The eye relief was unforgiving (I returned the one I purchased from Amazon) and it was heavier than aforementioned competitors. It also made the objective field feel slightly farther away (smaller) than my raw eyeball sight picture. It was marginally “flat” looking and I seemed to lose some feeling of depth perception between nearer and farther objects. It did present a useable, serviceable image of whatever you may be trying to fire a weapon at. I could focus a sharp reticle, a sharp sight picture, but not both, settling on a compromise leaning toward sharp picture with slightly blurry reticle. This seems to be the case with any less expensive optic I can justify purchasing for my entirely pedestrian needs. I didn’t torture test, drop, submerge, disrespect, or otherwise abuse this prism scope, as I was expecting a refund. So to all the haters out there, I say to you: It’s not a $1200 Trijicon ACOG. It’s 1/10 that cost and is actually a solid feeling unit for what it is. I did not adjust either windage or elevation turrets, only the focus diopter. My experiment was to clamp a picatinny rail on the dovetail of my Marlin 60SS (I know, I know, but I’m an out-of-the-box thinker AKA newb) and try the Monstrum prism as my astigmatism has hampered my enjoyment of red dot sights, especially at distance. I had the rail clamped on tight and the Monstrum prism mounted as far back as it would go, but the eye relief just wasn’t working for me on that gun, plus it looked totally ridiculous which made it easy to decide that there were better options out there. I settled on a Vortex 2-7x rimfire Crossfire II scope for around $120 and on that gun it is just perfect. In my short time learning as a hobbyist, I have concluded: Spend 1/2 to 2/3 of what the gun cost, on the optic. Period. Otherwise, for a dirt cheap AR build, this would be a decent range optic by any measure.

Crazy value
I got this after hearing about it on a YT channel dedicated to similar product deals. It was on sale, but I didn’t know what to expect as I had never heard of the brand and the price seemed too good to be true. I got the 3x and it’s been working great on my 22 rifle. I was already shooting good groups at the range consistently at 20 yards using a basic set of sights (no scope). Now I max out my indoor range’s length at 25 yards still with good groups and little effort (budget 22, budget scope, budget ammo). Can’t wait to take this outdoors one day! Will update review if I ever switch this to my 9 mm SBR, but I probably won’t because honestly this scope looks really ugly on it. Last detail, I have really bad astigmatism and have no problem using this scope - not sure why some other reviews mention eye fatigue.

Junk
I’ve purchased multiple Monstrum products and have overall been satisfied with them for their price point. This one however was a bust. Heavy, picky eye relief, and worst of all the reticle was clearly not centered in the lens. The included battery also arrived installed and dead (knob in the “on” position). The packaging really looked like I received a used item. Normally I’m satisfied with Monstrum and they meet expectations. This time I was let down.

Damaged
Came with a few burs that also don't have paint. It's nice but for the price I expected better.
