Loved these for 40 years. Nice to be able to buy in bulk. Delicate flavor/scent with nice contrast of the anise seed in middle. Store carefully away from other strong smells. I accidentally left a snack baggie of these in the same desk drawer as some smokehouse almonds. Somehow the smoke flavoring was absorbed by the candies a bit, making for a strange and unpleasant taste. From now on, I'll keep them in a tin or jar to enjoy their delicate flavor.

Let the candy dissolve on your tongue without crunching to enjoy a violet flower flavor until you get to the real treat in the center. This treat is a little anise seed. Crunching the seed at the end is the final prize. I bought the two pack so I can give one away for a Mother's Day gift. They shipped well, and there were no broken pieces.

When I was a teenager, at all times, I would have a tin of these candies in my purse. Loved them then and 40yrs later they still taste as beautiful as they did then. I will need to resume carrying a tin of these candies at all times.

Anis de Flavigny is more than candy. It has a very distinct taste and perfume. Anis gives it's taste to the typical renown French Pastis.With those drops you have the same benefits than with Pastis; furthermore, they're alcohol free !

I love these sweet floral mints! They are definitely violet flavored, so you probably won't like them if you don't like floral flavoring.

I enjoy the anise center, however, I was hoping for a little stronger violet flavor overall. Still I am enjoying a change of pace from the usual peppermint candies. The package seems expensive but it takes a long, long time to go through the entire contents. Good product, but I would like a little more violet flavor.

I have loved these little candies since I was a child! They are horribly expensive but this bulk package takes the sting out of the price as I can fill the little tins I have already. I used to be able to buy these at Alpine Village but they haven't carried them for years now. Finding them over the years has been a challenge. Kind of like a treasure hunt. I am so happy for the choices available through Amazon!

I’ve loved these since I was a kid. Nice smooth coating around a piece of lavender. I use the bag to refill my tins since it makes $$$ sense.
