How to Build Brick Cars: Detailed LEGO Designs for Sports Cars, Race Cars, and Muscle Cars

This is the best instruction book that I have bought. Clear instruction great pictures and the best part is the body color parts are separate so a change in color is very easy. The history on each car or truck is well written. I would be sure to read page 6 and 7 even as an expert builder not all of us build the same. I know you follow numbers 1, 2, 3, and so on but it helps to know how the builder who wrote the instruction thinks. This is also a good book to take ideas out of and come up other models. Good job Peter look forward to next book.

This book was a Christmas present for my husband who loves Legos and classic cars. He was elated to receive it. I think some of the supply lists/instructions could have been easier to follow, but overall a great book!

This How-To Book on building Lego sports and muscle cars will be much enjoyed by all three of my grandsons—and I may buy another copy of it to send to my “grands“ that live far away from me. I would recommend it.

This is a great book. The only reason I gave the book a 4 is that when I went onto the Lego website to individually purchase the pieces needed to create the car it’s no longer offered, or Lego changed their item number. For those with imagination I’m sure they can work around this, so this buy this book to get ideas and you’ll be happy

Great book, excellent detailed instructions on how to build each model. You will drive yourself crazy trying to find all the odd-ball little bricks required however. The brick identification numbers he uses aren't compatible with Lego' website, so ordering them by number (the easy way) isn't possible. It seems as though the book was intended for folks who already have an enormous collection of bricks, waiting to be re-purposed.

Not sure how anyone can say this book is detailed. I have put many lego models together from books in the past and this is terrible! Parts list rarely has all the pieces you will need for a particular build. Pictures do not show the exact part to use. You have to study the photos closely to figure out what pieces were used in each step. Sometimes only a partial piece is visible in the step so you are guessing. They could have at least listed the parts in each step so you could then maybe figure out the assembly. Also, don’t expect these builds to be as sturdy as a lego set. Many times a piece is held together by one or two studs and sections will fall apart.

Book is excellent - just wanted it to help my grand children build some Lego vehicles.
