Instructor Kamel Chouaref earned the greatest numbers of titles in French boxing history: 10 time World Champion in fist and feet boxing; 4 time European champion, 9 time French champion, 4 time winner of the French Cup, 5 time winner "Best Boxer of the Year." Savate French Boxing is 150 years old, it's history has been built up by passionate people such as Charles Charlemont, the undefeated champion from 1900 to 1914, Casteres & Mainguet who faced a difficult come back from 1918 to 1940, the Count of Baruzy, counselor in Paris, who did what needed to be done for French Boxing to be back at it's level by 1945. Thanks to these men, Savate French Boxing now has more than 30,000 practitioners in France.

Great DVD on savate / bf
Kamel DVD on French Boxing aka Boxe Francaise or Savate in the earlier days is very well done. The drills are well explained at various speeds. BF requires a lot of flexibility as you are literally boxing with your feet. Highly recommend it for any martial arts enthusiasts...
