Easy to use and works to perfection.

I received this sharpener today. I used it immediately. This product looks just like the picture on the sellers page, and does exactly what it says it will do. The high reviews influenced me to purchase this product. You 4 and 5 stars reviewers, I totally agree with you. This is a very good sharpener. I mean any knife sharpener. I made all my kitchen knives razor sharp very quickly and safely. After that, I trusted this product to sharpen one of my vintage case xx pocket knives. On this pocket I only used the # 2 slot, because this knife was already pretty sharp. In just about 10 trips of the blade through the slot, this pocket knife would shave the hair off your arm. In my satisfied opinion, I don't believe that you could purchase a better knife sharpener for the money. The only thing that I am concerned with; how long will this product perform at this type of service? I examined the blades of the knives that I had just sharpened. I looked at the blades by magnification, the blades were smooth as silk. No scrapes, gouging marks or roughness. By the way, I would buy this product again. Sincerely, this is a good sharpener that is worth buying...

looks to be a good product, sharpened several knives. Must be careful and not use knives that only have one edge. designed to sharpen a "V" edge knife. I will sharpen a serrated "V" edge knife. Easy to use and safe.

Really impressed with how well these products sharpen knives. Great for a tune up in between using my electric Chef Choice sharpener. Great compliment. Not the right tool to for sharpening really dull knives or ones that need a new edge. You can do it but it will take 1 million strokes to get it done.

This helps a dull knife but to make one real sharp, it takes another step on a stone.

I just got this sharpener. It is an excellent deal for the money. It took my very dull Wustof, Henkel and Cuisinart knives and put a tomato cutting edge back on them. Why get this? If you don't currently have a sharpener and live with dull knives, a sharp knife is actually safer and easier to cut with. It makes chopping and cutting a pleasure again. If you use a professional knife sharpener service or send your knives out, you are going to save a lot of money and hassle time. If you are afraid that you are going to ruin you knives, don't worry, this sharpener will not do that. I read complaints in these reviews that it scratched up the knife... well I am guessing that the person must have not held the knife vertical, nor parallel to the sharpener direction. Pay attention to the well written instructions and I would expect that you won't run into any problems. Other nice features are it is compact. It is not electric, meaning no cord and a hassle to store. It is very easy to use. And, I feel it us much better to have a sharpener on hand, so a sharp knife takes a minute, rather then wait for a professional edge. I liked it so much I just purchased a second as a gift to give to my parents, who own about the dullest collection of 60-plus knives ever, some dating back to the 1950s! I can't wait to tackle their knives with this excellent sharpener.

It's inexpensive and super easy to use, and it managed to put a sharp edge on my beat up old Pampered Chef stamped steel chef's knife. Super highly recommended.

Nunca he tenido un cuchillo tan afilado hasta que he comprado este afilador. No llevo mucho tiempo con el así que no se si durará mucho o se desgastará pronto pero hasta ahora (unos 3 meses) afila divinamente. Pensé en comprar uno eléctrico de la misma marca pero por precio me decidí por este.
