Majohn A1 Press Fountain Pen with Box, Retractable Extra Fine Nib Metal Matte Black Ink Pen with Converter for Writing

I've been looking for a nice fountain pen for ages but not found one suitable for me and my writing.My writing is really small so need a fine nib and have only found that before on fibre tip - this is perfect.It's fine but not scratchy. It has a nice weight to it and balances well in your hand making it very comfortable. The pen barrel is thick enough to hold onto but not too chunky.I went for the 'clip' version and didn't realise that the clip would be at the tip of the pen (nib end) - wasn't sure I would get along with that, but found it actually adds to the comfort when writing.I've chosen to use the refillable cartridge. 1 cartridge is filled and used in the pen, the spare is filled and carried with me so I don't need to take a bottle of ink with me and have the spare if one runs out away from home.Have to say a big thank you to everyone who left a review, this buy was based on those and you are right, I have not been disappointed.

Always wanted a “Hidden Nib”pen, but this has the Options of Cartridge or Converter fill. Please Note Is Custom Cartridge, hence Eye Dropper but this also comes with a spare, with lid, topper to travel with. Definitely an Extra fine nib, which glides across the surface of the page buttery smooth, like.Excellent delivery, time and no nonsense packaging

This pen is amazing, exactly what I’ve been looking for. The only niggle I had with it are that the instructions are very limited on how to fill it the pen but other than that, a perfect product

The pen has a metal body and the weight is just right. The clip helps to locate the grip point. The mechanism that allows the nib out of the body runs very smoothly.Whilst knowing I was purchasing a very fine nib it would have been useful to have an alternative nib size. Although there are clearly restrictions as to the size of the aperture from which the nib comes out.The steel nib writes very smoothly. The pen came with a cartridge that can be filled with a supplied pipette and there is also an ink converter.

This is the fountain pen of my dreams. The fine nib leaves no excess ink so there is no smudging. There is no leakage when retracted. It does not feel cheap and plasticky, and has just the right amount of weight. All in all, a lovely writing implement.

Just found this in a desk drawer whilst looking for something else. It has never worked properly. When initially full it would work for ten or fifteen minutes after a long period of coaxing to actually release ink (a pretty fundamental requirement for a fountain pen). Got bored of wasting so much time trying to get it to work that I dispatched it to a far corner. I must get better at being more critical and insisting on refunds from some of the under par providers vis Amazon.

This a wonderful fountain pen. It’s very much like the Pilot Vanishing Point/Capless but at 1/4 of the cost. The extra fine point is the equivalent of a German EF as opposed to a Japanese but that’s perfect for me. I use this all the time and it’s never let me down.

Good pen, however parts supplied with the pen are fault like the piston refill ink cartridge. Such a shame honestly...
