I recently upgraded to this Dyson floor attachment for my vacuum, and it has truly transformed my cleaning routine. My old attachment had worn out, and initially, I thought the issue was with the filters. It turned out the real problem was the attachment itself. My original Dyson vac head's motorbrush had failed, making vacuuming much less effective. This unit works well. Some reviewers mentioned swiveling shortfalls but in my experience this is a strength. The lights also highlight dust/dog hair on the floor and going up the walls. The motorhead sometimes stops on rugs/carpets so minus one point. A solid replacement for a failed Dyson vac head.

Since my DYSON cleaner head is broken, I bought a lot of replacement heads on Amazon to try, including the original ones. I must say, if your home is not all carpeted and you don’t have long-haired dogs, this one is really useful. Great affordable alternative...Because I bought DYSON's new cleaner head at the same time, I have to compare DYSON which is really better. But this one is also really good! Considering the price, I am willing to give it five stars! It's really good quality~ !Great cleaning effect on carpets too!

Decided to purchase this for our V10 when my wheel assembly on the actual Dyson motorhead broke and was out of warranty. Here's my thoughts:Pro's:- Great value for the money and if you're not wanting to spend $100 on the actual Dyson replacement motorhead, this will get the job done.- The lights on the front are a nice addition and I'm not sure why Dyson hasn't considered doing this with their product.- It does have a smooth roll when using it- Light-weight so it's not hard to maneuver.- It comes with two rollers (a soft one for hardwood and another for carpet)Cons:- Light weight (I know I said this as a Pro but it is a bit concerning since it could be made of cheaper plastic and lesser quality parts that would effect overall durability).- Permanently angled near the hose attachment so it doesn't allow you to go down as far without the front of the motorhead lifting off the ground when vacuuming. This also causes the motorhead to stick out a bit further from the wall when placed on the charger.- Doesn't swivel as well as the OEM Dyson motorhead. I found myself struggling a bit when attempting to vacuum the stairs since it wouldn't swivel at close to 90 degree angle like the Dyson motorhead does.- The brush doesn't spin nearly as fast as the OEM Dyson and this caused me to miss quite a bit of dirt on my first pass. The motor that spins the brush is definitely of a lower caliber.Overall, it's not a bad replacement if you're in a bind but you do get what you pay for. I did decide to return it since it just didn't have the same "Dyson" feel when using it. I'm sure there might be better alternatives out there for a bit more money, but for now, I'm gonna bite the bullet and just order myself the actual Dyson product.

Better than what came with the overpriced Dyson I put this on to replace its original.This rolls great and has a light which really helps more than I thought it would.I would buy again

Bought this to turn my Dyson V6 Top Dog handheld into a stick vacuum and it fit perfect on the telescope attachment I also bought on amazon. It does loose a bit of suction power having to travel to and operate the head but I'm only using it on hardwood floor for dog hair and dust mainly so it beats dust mopping. I like being able to trap the dust and hair instead of wafting it around.

Worked great on my Dyson v6 the lights are cool in dark places

This was purchased to replace our original power head and it WORKS BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL! Fast delivery from the US and it arrived in perfect condition. Amazed how easy it glides across the floor and picks up all the dirt. Great price and excellent value for money.

This brush head was a great replacement for our Dyson V10. One of the main differences is that the wheels are not great at swiveling, but glide very smoothly nonetheless.I find suction not as strong as the original. Though, it does the job. I haven't tried both attachments as I have mostly hardwood in the house.I DO love the light as it helps me see how much dust/crumbs it is picking up. Very useful.With a dog, I use another hand-held brush to scrape off hair from the carpet and then I vacuum it up with the Dyson!I bought this in addition to the dyson filters to help maintain the vacuum.I would recommend this product for anyone looking to replace the head on a budget.

I have had this for a while now. I love how easy it is to remove the roller and clean it of all the hair. Love having the lights. Suction seems to be pretty close to the original (but maybe slightly weaker), but still works great. I vacuum fairly heavy handed and run into things, and this thing has proven to be durable. I like how it comes with 2 different brushes, I haven't even used the other one yet. Overall....thumbs up!
