This is an excellent solution to the RV black tank AND gray tank too! Eliminates odor and cleans the tank without chemicals that just solidify tp. Best to use this BEFORE your tank is clogged but will definitely get things going if it is. Check out the tank tech videos first though and save yourself some time - very informative.

This is the best, quickest fix I have used. I put in my tank overnight w/ 2/3 full tank, drove 50 miles. I filled tank the next day and dumped. All sensors working again. I had tried several other brands w/ no success. Now I put a cup of water softener w/ a gallon of water after each dump all three tanks. . No problem in last 2 trips.

I use this company's other product for black and grey tank maintenance. The sensors were starting to act peculiar.There was no change in the sensor reading. I am not saying this product does not work. It did not resolve the sensor concern we were experiencing in the black and grey tanks.

I read all the reviews saying this would help with my pyramid plug in my RV toilet. I even snaked my drain once more to try to loosen up whatever is going on and then poured 3/4 of the bottle down (way more than the instructions suggested, but I needed this stuff to work), and even after one week my plug still isn't gone. In fact, this product contributed to the horrendous smell and it got so bad that we had to enclose the entire toilet seat with a black garbage bag so that we weren't gagging just living and sleeping in the RV. Fortunately we have a bath house just two stone's throws away where we can eliminate our business, but it's getting old having to live with this inconvenience. I really wish this would have been the final resolution to our problem, but now I think I need to turn to something else.If the manufacturers of this product see this review and have any advice or think I purchased the wrong product, I'd be welcome to be contacted and see if we can't change this rating.

Have had my rv for four years, the black water tank gauge has always shown full, even though it isn't. Have been to rv repair, no one could repair without opening tank. Even went to a rooter service. I found this, read the reviews, figured I would try it. Followed the directions-let it sit for two weeks, emptied it... and the gauge works!

I use tanktech products religiously in my black tank. Have used it since I purchased my 5th wheel. All my sensors work with no issues, no clogs. Great products.

Really helps keep sensors working. That trick to put into both tanks while traveling and let it swish around really helps
