20 Pack 6061 T6 Aluminum Sheet Metal 6 x 6 x 1/64 Inch Flat Plain Aluminum Plate Covered with Protective Film, 6061 Aluminum Sheet Plate for Crafting, Finely Polished and Deburred

I need to be better about reading the product description because I was looking for something magnetic (totally my fault) but ultimately I was able to use these as a type of “dry erase” board for a message|note board craft. They’re thin and durable for what I needed.

My outdoor steps are framed in railroad ties. They are now old, so to extend their life I nailed these aluminum squares over holes that had developed.The aluminum is plenty strong but thin enough to easily pound a nail through.

Nice pieces; I've peeled the plastic off about half of them. Edges are quite good--not burr free, but I haven't gotten scratched, much less cut. They have a nice fine finish, probably brushed.They are not quite square, and about 5 and 7/8 inch on an edge. The thickness is more than 1/64 inch (0.397 mm). I get readings from 0.475 mm to 0.478 mm.

It is not a perfect 6x6 square. If you need that precisely- you will be short. My stack came in at 5.9 inches (or 149.87mm) Nice aluminum for the price however.
