This is never fun to talk about but it happens to many of us at one time or another. Unfortunately, I got a very painful hemorrhoid recently, let's say Monday for a timeline, and came looking to Amazon for a healthier, and maybe more environmentally friendly, alternative to what is offered regularly in stores. After reading some really helpful reviews by people who suffer tremendously from this condition, including people who have had to have surgical intervention in the past and finding relief in this product, I was on board to try. Dr. Cole's claims of of organic, non-GMO, cruelty free, and so on, is right up my alley. I ordered it but it wasn't going to arrive until Wednesday. On Tuesday I ended up in a drug store and had to seek something for relief. I had tried a mild homemade fix that didn't work. So, I bought the standard Tucks and Prep H to try to hold me over. They helped some with the pain and itching, but not that much, and didn't shrink the 'roid in the five or so treatments I applied, including overnight. I was out until quite late Wednesday and came home to this miracle jar. You see where this is going, I imagine. I was a little disappointed I had to mix it before use, but better to be safe than sorry, was my thought. I cleansed the area as well as I could to remove the other products and applied my first treatment for overnight. It's now Thursday night, about 24-hours later, and I think I applied it 3 times today, and my 'roid is all but gone. I was honestly considering skipping this evening but I decided, like antibiotics, better to have a little more than you think you need to really knock your ailment out. My only criticism is that the balm started feeling a little thin and uncomfortable several hours after applying it, but it just encouraged me to cleanse and reapply a couple times, which is probably better anyway. And maybe that's normal for creams and balms, I haven't had to use them for this in some time. See Update 2. Previously: The balm got on my soap pump when washing my hands after application so I just washed the soap bottle, too... Update: this product is still awesome. It really helps resolve things in just a few days, sometimes less. Update 2: still awesome and a couple Q-Tips do the application job even better than my fingers. Plus, balm doesn't get on anything else. Love!!!

I've tried all brands. Dr Coles Hemorrhoid Treatment is the only one that works for me. It works right from the first application with no odd ingridients, no foul odor and without any burning. Very confortable and quick soothing relief. Only issue; Make sure to purchase the Hemorrhoid Treatment packaged in the small Round TIN. The suposed to be same product packaged in the PUMP style packaging doesn't seem to work as well for some odd reason, which is quite odd....? The pump type is a white cream as opposed to the (original) round Tin which is a green wax gel, so perhaps the base or some other changed ingridient keeps it from working as well as the original formula in the TIN. (???) Too bad, because the pump packiaging is sooooo much easier to use and also to travel with. The TIN is a PITA to open. Butthe bottom line is Dr Coles Hemorrhoid Treatment packaged in the TIN container is the best product out there!

While I should state upfront that I've had hemorrhoid issues for 20 + years, after using this product for approximately 45 days, I believe I've seen some actual improvement in the severity of my issue. I will continue to use and report if more positive results are seen.

This is the best product on the market for dealing with hemorrhoids. Smear on a dime sized amount and sthe hemorrhoid gets smaller.

Gift for a relative, says it works very well and they would recommend it.

I was moments away from going to the doctor for my hemorrhoids but I decided to give this stuff a try as a last attempt. I am so, so, so thankful I did!!! I was barely able to walk and about an hour after the first application, I felt significant relief. I used it about 3 times a day and by the second day, my hemorrhoids shrunk significantly!! By day three, I felt 99% better. I've been using it regularly for 3 weeks now and I can not express how much better I feel both physically and mentally!! I do still get them after going #2, but if I apply it before and after, they're gone within 30 minutes and it's nowhere near as painful as prior to using Dr.Coles. I will NEVER be without this stuff and I highly, highly recommend it. Doctors should recommend this before surgery, that's how good it is!! Give it at least 3 days to decide if it's working for you. Believe me, mine were AWFUL and it worked for me!!

The ointment is soothing, but no miracle salve. It is very greasy .

I don’t typically write reviews but THIS product needed one. This is hands down the BEST hemorrhoid/fissure treatment. Even better Than Dr. Butler’s - which I tried and found to be pretty good. But even Dr. Cole’s fat exceeded Butler’s. I had been suffering from anal fissures for well over a year. I was so discouraged because I thought nothing work work. Long story short, I tried all sorts of products and finally decided to try Dr. Cole’s. I was skeptical when I first started using it as the relief isn’t instantaneous (it’s fast but not immediate). Mind you, FISSURES was my main problem. I then applied it the next dat, still skeptical. By the third day I was able to defecate without any pain. I couldn’t believe it. I still can’t believe it. Over a year of sharp pain and bleeding, GONE! FINALLY! I still use it everyday to prevent tearing as I believe I’m still healing. I will DEFINITELY be ordering another tin. The tin looks small but it goes a long way. It will be more than enough for you. I also love that the product is more like a wax/hard paste as opposed to a cream. It seems to product the irritated/torn tissue much better. And whatever formula they use definitely helps your body heal naturally. This is a fantastic product. $20 well spent!
