SPTA Cordless Mini Car Polisher, 12V Micro Cordless Scratches Killer Car Polisher RO/DA Mini Car Polisher for polishing, Sanding and Cleaning.---- Be wary of reading Amazon reviews, they bulk them under manufacture and product type and they are not always specific. my review is for the device as described at the head of my review. Of note the device does not come with 1 inch pads and backing plate as d3scribes but instead comes with a 1.5 inch backing plate and selection of suitable 1.5 inch pads. It does come with 2 inch and 3 inch backing plates and both a 3mm and a 12mm concentric dual action weight. The 3mm weight only works with the 1.5 inch pad. The machine is well manufactured and well quality controlled. It fels solid in the hand. I will be using it later this week when temperatures improve to paint correct one, possibly two vehicles. This size of plat is for detail, panel edges, around badges, decala and emblems with the bulk of the cutting and refining on large panels being completed by another 5 or 6 inch machine. I will update the review with my opinion on performance and the effectiveness of the supplied pads . I am an amateur vehicle detailer and have been using a quality mains 1000 watt DA machine for 5 years. I do full two stage paint correction with cure ceramic coatings and I am hoping this cordless machine will make me more efficient in those critical areas such as edges and narrow panel detail. So far I'm delighted but I did expect the 1 inch plate and not a 1.5 inch plate as supplied, but this needs to be corrected in the description and for me, I'm sure I will still be able to use the machine as I intended.

Love this polisher works perfectly and doing small polishing jobs and great at sanding jobs around the house. It feels very good quality and not to heavy and the batteries last a good amount of time.So far I have remove a large scratch from my car, restored some tarnished headlamps perfectly and even removed deep scratch on a hard plastic dashboard using 3000 grit sanding pad and the lambs wool polishing pad.In summery a perfect tool for many jobs and I would highly recommend it.

This polisher is excellent with plenty of accessories, where it completely fails is the batteries. It comes with 2 batteries, and they last approximately 20 min, with a charging time of just over an hour. So be prepared to sit around every cycle for 40 min. Their advert claims that due to the 2 batteries, you wont have to worry, this is not the case. When I raised this with the seller, they simply stated that it takes less that 20 min to polish a car.........Unfortunately until the batteries are better, or that it comes with 4 batteries, do not buy.

Purchased from Amazon all delivered on time, all product as advised in box, but.1) 3inch Pads have a 8mm thread and 2inch &1inch have a 6mm thread. So if you require 12mm throw you must use the 3inch pad and for the 3mm throw you must use the 2inch & 1inch pads.The extensions for RO polishing only have 6mm threads, as delivered you cannot use 3inch pads for RO polishing. You have to purchase or produce an M6 male to M8 female converter to fit the 3inch pad , any idea why2)Arrived both batteries flat so had to be charged, charging tool approximately 90 minutes so assuming average battery life of 20 minutes you cannot work for longer than 40 minutes before a 60minute rest. It has to be said there are not many small polishing jobs that will last that long.3)The most irritating part of the deliver is the first removal of the 12mm throw orbiter. The supplied spanner spread from 11mm to 15mm is complete rubbish and still the orbiter did not unscrew had to as with another customer grind down a 11mm spanner to remove the orbiter barrel. Once removed subsequent orbiter barrel removals have been without a problem.4)Apart from the above comments the polisher works fine, how long it will last we shall see, would I buy it again, for the professional No, for the weekend diyer maybe. I don't think it's worth £160 but maybe £100 at best, better still if they sold it as a corded product at a lower price, hope this helps.

Good quality and ideal for awkward areas. Well balanced in the hand

More than good enough for DIY use, a little noisy maybe but if you’re only using it intermittently, fine. Battery life excellent, a professional car sprayer friend of mine even commented that battery life was far superior to his professional grade mini polisher. Previous reviews have mentioned that the switch was difficult to use but it seems to have been upgraded to a lockable lever switch so not a problem anymore. All manner of pads and mops come with it so enough to keep me going for a while.

Compact. Good package, no doubt not the best pads but good for the money. Handy little machine to polish things that were never meant to be polished.
