Not so good
To start with the rod was about 3 " to long to the master cylinder and yes it was the right master cylinder so I had to cut the rod and reform the tip. After 3 months I started to see fluid around the accumulator. I removed the part and found the seal installed backwards. Just in case your wondering I am a retired Chrysler master tech. not some backyard mechanic. Am I happy, not so much. Hope this helps someone.

Push rod wrong length
It was advertised for 2001 Ram 3500. I got it and installed it and kept having issues with my back calipers wanting to lock up. I thought well the calipers are older so I out new calipers and hoses on and same issue ! I finally pulled the hydroboost back off and found the push rod is longer than original and was keeping the back brakes slightly engaged. It is past the return date now so I have a $ 250 part that will not work. I resealed my old one and put it back on and everything works perfect now.

It will not fit a 1998 ram 2500
Replaced a leaking hydro boost on my 1998 ram 2500 with this unit. It’s shaft is longer and causes brakes to stay depressed heating up brakes and causing issues. I cut the shaft down due to being in a pinch so I can’t return. But don’t buy unless you want to modify it.
