Great pins for softer hair
These work so much better than expected. I have softer, straight hair. So I usually have to use a lot of regular pins for my bun but with these pins the hair stays with just a few pins. Love that it comes in two different sizes.

Updo Perfection
Flocked French pins have been around forever and these are of great quality. I ordered the gray ones and they blend in seamlessly with my gray hair. They are durable and the flocking has held up just fine with multiple use. My hair is almost to my waist, so there’s a lot of hair to put up a French twist. Yet these pins do a fantastic job of holding it in place throughout the day! Just three pins do the job of 10+ bobby pins. The flocking grabs the hair for a great hold. They come in various sizes for your needs and while a little pricy, it’s worth it because they are lasting a long time and are holding their shape.

Worth it!
Expensive ...but totally worth it. It holds my daughters super long hair in a bun all day during gymnastics competitions.

Nice French pins, I admit.
Part of me wanted to dislike these, because l felt they were overpriced for what they are, especially at around $15 USD for 20 pins…so that’s .75 PER pin. I could get other pins for about .02 each, so that feels outrageously expensive. However, I had difficulty finding French pins in the size I wanted that are similar to my hair color, which is sort of a golden-honey blonde. Gold and rose gold pins are still noticeable, but the “blonde” Frenchies are an excellent match, and disappear into my hair. If you are a platinum blonde or an ash blonde, they wouldn’t be a great match. These do also seem more comfortable than regular pins, because if they inadvertently touch your scalp, they are fuzzy instead of hard metal. If you have fine, straight hair, as I do, the flocking gives them a little more “grip,” and they are less prone to sliding out than metal pins. So I’m keeping them. And will probably order them again in the future when these inevitably break or get lost, but I’ll still grumble about the price.

So much better than bobby pins!
I love these hair pins! Years ago, I discovered that bobby pins did nothing for my hair. I found some hair pins and they worked so much better. My hair pins got old or lost and I needed more. These hair pins are even better than my old ones!! They are thick and strong. I was kind of worried about the velvet getting scrapped off or damaged, but they haven’t been damaged at all. My hair is naturally straight and medium thickness. It’s either too heavy or slippery for a braid, bun, or other fun styles. Typically, I’ll use a hair elastic or two and then use the hair pins to make a bun. Honestly, with the way that the hair pins work, you wouldn’t need elastics or any other clips to hold your style together. I highly recommend them! My hair currently is down to my shoulders with layers and the pins are amazing. Most of the time, I use the smaller pins more than the larger ones only because the long ones stick out sometimes and the short ones don’t. Whatever length my hair is, the hair pins work great! I will definitely buy them again.

Not Perfect, But Pretty Great
These work great for my hair. I have thick, fine hair--with some pins, it's like trying to push a toothpick through a rock. I've broken/bent a lot of pins in my day. I don't have that problem with these, and just a few hold my hair absolutely securely all day. I can be pretty active and my hair doesn't loosen at all. (I only put my hair in a bun, so I haven't tried more intricate styles.) They do spread out after use, but I just pinch them closed again before the next use and they're fine. I like that they come in a variety of colors, including gray. That's unusual. My only issues are that they're a little on the pricey side. Also, the flocking does start to wear off pretty quickly. It's mostly at the ends (for now) and doesn't seem to affect their effectiveness, but it may be an issue down the road.

I love these. I have thin and fine hair and all the hair accessories just slide off and don’t grip the hair. These are smaller and more grippy than normal hair pins and almost invisible once in the hair. Not yet sure of their longevity but so far I’m loving them.

these are fantastic. I have very long and very thick hair. These pins hold it securely even overnight. I can put all my hair in a bun with 2 pins. Highly recommend

I wasn’t expecting much from pins as they always fall off my hair, always! But these are amazing. I have super long hair and thick and these didn’t budge all day. The price is on the high side but definitely an amazing product !

I have tried so many types of hair pins and they either don't hold my hair or they hurt my scalp and are extremely uncomfortable. Frenchies flocked pins are fantastic! They hold perfectly for my chignon, are so comfortable on my head, no tugging or scrapping my scalp. And the hold! I would highly recommend these to anyone who loves to do updos!
