Guisong Evaporative Cooler Cover for Hessaire MC18M/MC18V Portable Evaporative Cooler, Cover for Swamp Cooler/Water Air Conditioner/Outdoor Air Conditioner

I bought this Evaporated Cooler in September and I am having issues with the water pump as it does not want to suck up the water from the bottom of the cooler. The only way it will work is for me to take off the 2 screws then remove the pump that is submerged in the water, while in the "on" mode remove it from the water then re-submerge into the water and it will pick up the water and work accordingly. It does this all the time.Please tell me what is wrong with the water pump.Thank you,Jorge Mendez

Although not specifically designed for the application for which I used it for I figured the dimensions were similar, so why not try and use it for my portable A/C. Made by Heisense. I don’t think it was designed to be a snug fit even though the dimensions are near identical, there are adjustable, lockable straps near the bottom that can be latched together to snug up the cover to keep the power cord from dragging. The nice zippered pocket is an excellent idea for the Remote control, product, pamphlet, and the bag for the cover itself. With most petroleum-based products there is a slight smell to it that will hopefully dissipate over time. There are also velcro flaps on each side of the cover that are designed to have easy access to the handles on each side of the unit to pick up or to move around.

The Guisong Evaporative Cooler cover is yet another in the recent flood of sino-made offerings that are "covering" the U.S. and international market these days (groan for bad pun :-)This cover purports to fit both the MC37M and V models, and is made from an attractive and sturdy grade of waterproof nylon.The cover evidences typical current generation sino-semi-automated manufacturing output sensibilities. The seams are crisp and well sewn. The dimensions are very accurate, and there are no surprises. The packaging is reasonably environmentally consious.There is a certain amount of plastic in this product, which can be worrisome from an environmental perspective - but to be fair to the manufacturer, this product function is in keeping with the nature of the best uses of plastics - when we must use them.This device will probably prolong the operational life and efficiency of your cooler by keeping it clean and protected from the elements, dirt, and damage from incidental passers by. Extending the life of your swamp cooler means you have to buy fewer of them, which is great. But adding a nylon/plastic cover means the cover must be made from the aforementioned materials, which does add to the carbon footprint and ever growing pile of plastic that will one day probably bury us all. :-/Nevertheless, a good investment if you want to keep your swap cooler clean, safe, and in top condition. IMO, well worth the money.5 stars - no issues.

This is cover is the closest thing to a expensive custom made cover for our indoor/outdoor AC unit. I was impress with the quality of the fabric which is heavy, protects against dust and excessive sunlight and UV Rays yet allows to evaporate any moisture quickly which may prevent mold growth. The cover has a set of handles on top to easy put on/take off; another set of ties help to adjust the tightness of the cover at different levels of the unit itself, no flapping even if the cover is bigger than the unit. Finally, to keep everything together and to help with organization a pouch made of the same material than the cover is the perfect place to store the small pieces while not in use, then when the unit is needed, put the cover back in the pouch. If you measure your unit, this cover will fit perfectly.What a blessing to have this hide the ugly evaporative cooler for the winter!We use the large Hessaire cooling unit when we are here in the desert for the summer and right now when it's cool outside in the winter I don't even want to think about the burning 🔥 that is summer. And this cover helps me relax and not think about what is to come. The unit sits right in the living room where we watch tv and this cover has made such a visual difference in the room.This solid black cover also helps me hide the hard water stains and everthing ugly about the cooling unit, since the grey unit sits inside year round. It was hard enough to get it up the steps and in the door once. So inside it stays all year.This black cover makes the evaporative cooler more like a piece of furniture for half the year.I added my own table runner over the middle of it to give it some style and set a freestanding clock on top.It's black.
