I use this as my aux cord since my car doesn’t have Bluetooth. It works great!

If I could give these zero stars, I would. I am writing this review a day after I received these adapters.I needed an adapter in order to use wire headphones with my iPhone 14 Pro. I thought about the official apple adapter, but seeing how loss-prone I am, I figured these would be great since I would get two.Well, these SUCK.Before I begin my review, it’s VERY important that I note that the headphones I was using with these adapters ARE BRAND NEW. In fact, these adapters and the headphones were ordered together and delivered together. The headphones are from a VERY reputable brand, and worked beautifully when connected directly to the aux jack of my MacBook Pro. So this isn’t a matter of the headphones being defective.With the first adapter I tried, the headphones produced a very “tin-like” sound, with the lyrics being echo-y and unrecognizable, no bass whatsoever. I tried the other set and they worked… until a day later (today). The sound suddenly went out completely. I fiddled with the connection gently and the sound would come back in spurts. I tried taking the adapter out and reconnecting. When that happened, the pin that goes into the lighting port came out COMPLETELY (pics attached). I was able to re-connect the ends but there is no sound.Completely disappointed. I had reached out to Amazon to explain how one adapter didn’t work and they initiated an exchange. Well with the fiasco that was the second charger, I am going to initiate a return and just order the official Apple adapter. It might cost a bit more and I’ll only get one, but I’ll at least know it will work out the box.I suggest anyone considering these forgo buying them at all, and just get the official Apple ones.

This worked with iphone wired ear plugs, but did not work on iphone 13 when trying to answer calls...bummer! It was good however for listening to streaming music.

use for home entertainment

Look I had to replace my dongle because mine literally cracked in half and I drive a car from 2007. I’ve replaced it before have always been able to use my phone with it. Well now they apparently don’t make them with phone abilities. Certified apple or not. It’s frustrating. Is the sound quality good? Sure there isn’t any charging going on FYI so you can forget that. It’s just okay. Not what I need.

I dislike that it broke less than a month after beginning use of it. I liked when it wasn't broken.

I only gave it one star because I couldn’t give it a zero. Dongle doesn’t actually support using a headset for phone calls despite saying it does.

I got this to use with my Beats Studio wire but the first one I used didn’t work at all and the second one took some playing with to make it so I could hear from both ears… didn’t have the energy to return so trash🤷🏾‍♀️
