The media could not be loaded.  I work from a lot of coffee shops and I'm always looking for a good laptop stand that is lightweight and fits into my backpack. The STANDapart does the job! The material seems like a type of corrugated cardboard reinforced with plastic; it seems strong and it's extremely light. The design is quite intuitive, we didn't need to look at the instructions to set it up. Plus, the stand has really nice packaging and unboxing experience. I also have a Roost laptop stand which is great but costs nearly four times as much as this one. I would definitely recommend the STANDapart to budget conscious people because there's nothing like it for the price.

Simple and quick to set up and tear down, almost weightless, packs flat. My 13” Macbook Pro felt secure even when I intentionally jiggled it. I don’t know what else you want from a laptop stand. It is a comfortable height for viewing the screen from a typical table, and you can type on it directly, but it’s really made for an external keyboard. This product is exactly as advertised and seems to be well engineered for the purpose. I think it would be possible to break it with effort, but it doesn't seem flimsy. I think it's a good balance between durable and light.

This stand is fantastic. I am amazed how light it is while still being strong and the setup was super easy. As a software engineer, I'm on my MacBook a lot and have started to develop problems due to poor posture. This stand helps put the laptop in a much better position and I can already feel the improvement. I really like that it is super slim and light so I can take it anywhere. I usually work from many different places, so being able to fit in my bag and standup quickly is very important. Love it.

This is light weight, easy to take apart and stow in my satchel, and supports the weight of my laptop. However, I have a large laptop, and it hangs over the sides of the stand by several inches on both sides. With the screen fully open, it is a little top heavy. The bump of the table would tip the whole kit-and-kaboodle over backwards. It's fine on my desk at work, but I'm afraid to use it in coffee shops, one of my favorite work spaces. I would like longer crossbar sections to make the base more stable.

Great for a light laptop stand. Have had it for several months, fits in a backpack super easily, no weight. It's relatively sturdy, haven't had any issues with it bending or folding. My one complaint would be that the hooks on the front make it difficult to type on the laptop itself when it's on the stand. You need another keyboard if you're going to be using this stand for any length of time. Overall, happy with it.

This is a great travel item for those of us who need to work, need portability, and sometimes need to work in smaller than optimal spaces. The STANDapart is very lightweight, has impressively easy assembly and disassembly, and is the perfect height to help maintain healthy posture especially if you are working for extended periods of time. I will definitely take this with me for my upcoming travel. Thank you!

Thank you for the ingenious device! Working like a pro! The material is very durable. It even holds my massive Robin's patho. Wish the riser comes with an even higher base as another edition! Too bad the delivery failed the 1st time:( Hope you make a comeback because I'd like to have more!
