Updated: Oral Mart contacted me about my issue and sent is a different size at no cost. The new size fits much better! Great customer service and the product is perfect now that we have the right fit. Super easy to mold too!Was fairly easy to mold and seems like it would do a great job protecting teeth, unfortunately it didn't fit my daughter's mouth at all. We purchased for lacrosse. It was way too big. She couldn't get her lips together over it and as soon as she opened her mouth to talk, it would fall right out. We purchased the size based on the size chart, but didn't work out for us.

This mouthguard is way too thick, especially when comparing to other ones on the market. It doesn't stay on my teeth, droops down to block my breathing, and I can't close my mouth over it. Given the cost, this shouldn't be your first stop for a mouthguard.UPDATE - Seller contacted me and sent me a youth size to try and it fits great. I wear a medium size everything, so if that's you, you may consider ordering the youth size first. It sticks to my teeth better than any of my other guards. It's still thicker than my other ones, so it's good for the most serious contact sports and gives great confidence. Excellent customer service leaving no risk when ordering. A good guard to buy first among other choices.

Overall very happy with the product. I use it for BJJ and it offers good protection.Used a keurig to heat the water. Kept the mouthguard in the hot water for 2 mins (instead of the 40secs on the box, since it wasnt as hot as boiled water). Was able to repeat the fitting process a few times. Have to really suck in your breath, bite, and press to create a good suction on the mouthguard.

The "color" titles are not descriptive enough, so I apparently ended up with the thickest mouth guard in the bunch. The thing is HUGE!! I could barely close my lips around it. It was so huge it was nearly impossible to get in and out of my mouth. Luckily I still have my cheap one from the gym that I can go back to.

I followed the directions exactly--40 seconds in boiling water (I had it at a rolling boil), quick dunk in ice water, then placement in my mouth. The first time, I ended up with a lopsided fit, with the left side higher than the right. The instructions said to repeat the same steps if the fit wasn't perfect, so I put the mouth guard back into the boiling water for another 40 seconds. This time, I got a perfect fit, but realized that there was now an ugly/slightly uncomfortable indentation on the inner right side. It was from the tongs I'd used to transfer the guard from the boiling water to the ice water! I'm chalking the damage up to user error, but I wish the instructions had specified to be extremely gentle when transferring the hot mouthguard.Besides the extra indentation, the mouthguard fits great (adult) and is very comfortable.
