Don’t think of it as an alternative for AirPods! These are so comfy for smaller ears and the price point provides excellent value. The sound quality is excellent. The Jabra 5, way improved from the version 3! The anc is solid and the hear-through is good. Bluetooth connects quickly and sounds great (better than jabra 3). Charge lasts long but does need to be charged overnight if you use the buds consistently thru the day. These are the perfect option for someone who uses earbuds to quiet external noise, listen to music/podcasts while working or light exercise, and takes occasional calls thru the day. Best choice for the money if you worry about losing an earbud.

This is the longest lasting battery life earbuds I own. Most of my past earbuds and earphones were from Skullcandy due to its cheap price and great sound quality, but I haven't gotten one that can go almost the whole day without charging!I've decided to invest a little more this time since Skullcandy earphone quality never lasts more than a few months. I didn't regret it after using it for a month now.It doesn't block outside noise, but it still offers excellent sound. It fit snuggly in my ear even when I am on my run and there is rarely any disconnection. If there is, it fixes itself quickly enough.It's a bit hard getting used to how to control the volume, but you'll get used to it after a while.So far, I am using it almost every day and loving it more and more.

So I have used Jabra headphones for over 4 years now and I was really impressed by the Elite Active 75t's when they came out. Since then, I haven't found quite a comprehensive Jabra product that since can compete with those. Long story short - the Elite Active 7's are a close match but I would still consider the Elite Active 75t's the gold standard of Jabra earbuds. I am a bass junkie, so my reviews are largely based on how well the headphones can handle bass and music quality. I use the Sound+ app to adjust my sound curve to be bass heavy (all the way up), mid below default, and treble moderate.ELITE ACTIVE 75t - 5 StarsAs stated above, these headphones I consider to be the gold standard of Jabra earbuds. The case feels sturdy and of high quality, however the one downside is the earbuds don't always turn off when they are put back in - possible magnet/metal to metal connection issue with these. The noise cancelling and hear through modes are pretty good considering the age of these headphones. The sound quality - *chef's kiss* I use these headphones for everything (except on an airplane I use my Sony WH-1000XM4's). The bass is very deep and these work great for many different genre's. The ANC and hear through are pretty reasonable considering these came out in the late 2010's. For calls I have not had issues with sound. Charging and battery life - I probably get 6.5 hours on a single charge (using ANC and music) and the case can probably handle another 8ish hours. Overall - if you can get these new at a discounted price, these are the way to go.ELITE 7 ACTIVE (and Elite 7 Pro; maybe now Elite 8?) - 4 stars, would only buy on sale (bought for $80 on a prime deal day)These are the closest I've found in quality to the 75t's. When using the Sound+ app, you can't turn the bass up all the way or else songs like "Intimidated (ft. H.E.R.)" by KAYTRANADA really sound like they are blowing out the speakers. The case is nice and I think solves the connection/turn off issue I mentioned with the 75t's. A HUGE WARNING: If you want to change the earbud silicone/rubber tips that go into your ears - be extremely careful. I ripped mine very easily trying to change to the next size up. It's like they are stuck or molded onto the earbuds lol. Battery life is as advertised. ANC is pretty good (better than the 75t's). The hear through does have some issues where it seems like every few minutes or so it'll quickly toggle on/off for 0.5-1 second to possibly recalibrate? This seems to be common with the newer generation Jabra's.ELITE 3 - 5 Stars, great budget optionI use these at my home office and as a backup when I travel (in case I forget to pack my 75t's). These are a really great budget/affordable option Jabra if you don't care as much about noise cancelling. These have really good sound quality. The battery life is exactly as advertised, and the hear through mode is pretty good for headphones that are around $50. The case and headphones do feel a little cheap compared to the 7's and 75t's, but generally I would still say these headphones are great affordable options if you don't need noise cancelling. Naturally, they have pretty good noise cancelling just based on the design.ELITE 4 (maybe now Elite 5?) - 4 starsThese are pretty good, similar sound quality to the 3's. I'd say either step up to the 7's or step down to the 3's. I know Jabra is changing up their lineup, so maybe these are now the only option in the $50-$100 range?ELITE 10 (Dolby Atmos) - 3 stars, based on price; if cheaper maybe would get more starsI was not impressed by the sound quality of these based on how much I paid for them. I think the problem is, a lot of my music is already in the Dolby Atmos format (Apple Music), and a lot of the features seem to be geared towards Spotify (doesn't have Dolby Atmos music). I'm thinking maybe Jabra needs to work on either the drivers or the software to get the Dolby Atmos just right. The problem is (regardless of EQ settings), many songs it seems like they overdue the echo feature which makes certain noises sound really bad. I noticed it's a specific "thump" like you hear in songs like "Tie That Binds" by Drake, "Heart Skipped a Beat" by The XX, or "ONE TOO MANY" by KAYTRANADA it literally sounds like they replaced certain sounds with someone walking on a hard floor with heels and just turned the echo up super high. With the Dolby Atmos turned off, that totally also defeats the purpose of the headphones. I would say these headphones are designed for if you stream your music through Spotify or don't mind certain thump sounds getting warped. Other headphones with Dolby Atmos like the LG Tonefree T90's or AirPods don't do this to these kinds of songs. Head tracking was accurate though.ELITE 85t - 2-3 starsLong story short, these seem cheaper and have a worse sound quality than the 75t's. Just get the 75t's or the 7's.

Bought these mainly to get multi-connect tech, which no one else but Jabra seem to consider important. But was enamored by claims of much better sound than my 75Ts, which at the mo are so battery-degraded, they can't hold a charge more than a couple of hours. These were on sale, so bit...Have a pair of earbuds I intensely hate for their painful ear retention, shoddy build quality, wonky feature set, and inability to reliably charge when plugged in... but whose sound is still after 5 yrs, amazing in comparison to every other earbud save $500-in-ear-monitors I've tried: the Tronsmart Apollo Bold. What a waste of a bill... but its sound has begrudgingly kept me from throwing it away all these years despite flaws. So a far more reputable European product, claiming similar fidelity yet features I liked in the 75T only improved? Gave it a try...More bass than the Elite 7 Pros? If there is I can't find it. Yes I've noodled in the Sound+ app -- barely-perceptible change in sound no matter how I change the EQ. Back to back with the crappy Apollos, not even a comparison. Still falls out of my ears no matter the earcups, despite the loss of mass vs. 75T; that were another letdown. So much for all those ear canal scans -- maybe scan more non-European ears?There is some good. The confusion the 75T has with pairing, connecting only for calls and not audio 4 of 5 times, needing cradle / uncradle to solve... has vanished with the Elite 5, thank effing God. Doesn't remember my laptop or phone tho so must be manually connected, thus not as useful as the Cambridge Audio Melomania 1, another set long in the trash for its showstopper flaws. But the features it does bring, all seem to work much less cynically than other earbuds, esp the Sino-made ones.Don't fully regret spending what I did for these earbuds. But ignore the marketing; it's no game-changer for sound. Getting 7 hrs of battery life vs. the 75T's 5 hrs, higher build quality with features that are well-conceived and well-executed, are more practically why I looked for these in the first place... but can also see why they're heavily discounted. For calls and such and a *barely-perceptible* bit more bass, these are fine if you can't find the Elite 7 Pro at a similar price. But not if you're looking for in-ear monitors at a cut rate price, or want to workout in them. Suppose that's why there's an Elite 7 Active ⭐️⭐️⭐️_ _---UPDATE 04 NOV 23:Despite a lackluster initial impression, perhaps the *lack* of features has made this model more reliable than the 7 Pro -- I've had a lot of problems with the 7s that do not at all manifest on these 5s.Pros (since 18 Aug 23):- far more reliable charging; has never failed to charge when cradled- far more reliable and faster connection, both to single-source and multiple sources- far more reliable delivering sound vs. 7 Pros, esp playing YT playlists- more agreeable case shape, even if less capacity, vs. 7 Pros (esp fact the charge port is on the back and not the front of the case, so the green LED doesn't light up the room at night whilst trying to sleep; just lay it on the front of the case, LED-down whilst charging, problem solved)- slightly lighter weight apparent when wearing several hoursCons:- slippery; can fall out of my ears laying down, moreso than 7s- less battery life is less battery life; any set of wireless earbuds sold in 2023 should have at minimum 8 hrs of avg. runtime ANC-off before low-chg warning, a full shift at work- far too expensive for how they sound vs. 2023 competition. If they were $99 at launch, I'd have no complaints about pricing, but 30% more? I overpaid...Faaar better than $150 for the 7 Pros... but just okay for the $128 I paid for these, this past summer. For $109, I'd think about it; below $100, I'd recommend them no problem :)---UPDATE 03 JAN 24:L earbud has begun to stop charging, showstopper, taking yet another star. What's this, not even 6 mos? Doesn't charge to 100% in L earbud anymore, junk. DO NOT BUY... for all its fancy features, not charging to 100% negates them all. ⭐️_ _ _ _

Not as good as the previous t versions of the headphone pricey but sounds basic and sort of muffled. Not very good quality actually even feel more light and cheaply made seems to be less durable and less refined
