Faces of Death Collection (Vols. 1-4)

Seen this before when i was young, so no surprize, But i still like it. This reminds me how the world was an d still is.

I originally saw the first movie when I was about 10 or so, and almost 40 years later it still has the same impact. I personally greatly enjoyed all the faces of death series, but I must say they're not for the weak or squeamish. If you've got the stomach to watch all of them all the way through they can be quite enjoyable viewing.

Faces of Death is a very unique horror/Documentary series that is not for everyone. This series is recommended for veteran horror or shock fans, I wouldn't advise that just anyone pick it up and pop it in. Let me warn you: These films are very disturbing even to hardcore horror fan, Mostly when watching one for the first time. I went into these films thinking they would be worse than they were. I was actually surprised of how good they can be, Don't get me wrong these aren't the best horror films of all time. A select few will enjoy this. If you are reading this review and have not seen these films or never really heard about them, Or if you're a regular horror fan that wants to go to the next level, let me warn you. Most likely you will end up turning it off or sending it back. I myself thought the price was a little steep but i wasn't disapointed. These films comprise themselves of actual and staged footage of violence and mayhem, Executions, Animal Death, Car Crashes and many other footage of violence. I enjoyed these movies oddly enough, But it's probably because i have a stomach of iron and am used to this kind of stuff (Hey That's Just Me).If you are looking for a visual challenge or are just interested in true crime or are just curious i would recommend that you buy this.But be warned. You may not enjoy them.

Product arrived promptly and the quality is excellent. Actually includes some extras that I had never seen before and I owned some of the original VHS versions of this. Definitely worth the money if you want a copy of this cult classic...

Since i was a teenager and discoverd these videos at a local video store i have been shocked, sickened, and repulsed, but not enough to go and complain and cry at Gorgon, instead i have grown up and use these videos as special fx training for my employees and myself. Even though its all fake (except slaughterhouse and few others) they have helped me learn that we take our life for granted, and takeing a journy through death is what every human should see, it could be life changing i know it was for me..........but all in all, i will continue to watch these videos with friends and use for instructional examples until america can take their fingers out of their butts and make real examples of death and stop being so afraid, death will happen for us all one day and i for one want to choose to know what will and can happen, just to be accepting of death and not afraid. I hope these videos continue to shock and scare the young horror generation, i hope these videos will be talked about in school hallways for years to come like it was from mine

Arrived on time and no damage to the DVD's. Interesting films and a wide variety of content.

This collection really brings me back. Faces of Death and Traces of Death (which I already have the set of) were my teen group right of passage back in the mid 1990's. It will be nice to take a walk down nostalgia lane with Dr. Francis B. Gross once again.
