I ordered this battery as a replacement for my Dell XPS 15z. The battery was very nearly an exact replacement for the original, and because I'm familiar with opening the case on my 15z, the replacement took about 15 minutes from start to finish. The battery works great... I find myself getting somewhat in excess of 3 hours of use on a full charge, and functions just like the original in the device manager and power controls. I've been using it for about 3 weeks now. Time will tell the overall life of the battery, but I expect it will function as well as the original, which lasted about 2 years for me with daily use. The price point was excellent; less than half of what Dell formerly charged for the battery. I checked Dell's site before ordering this battery, and found that they no longer even offer the part for sale on their site, so third-party sellers are the only options to obtain a replacement. Based upon my experience so far, I have no problems recommending either the part or the seller and would definitely do business with them again.

After connecting this battery to the motherboard (not even starting laptop or connecting to power), battery fried itself up (small patch melted on the battery) as well as a K72 transistor on the laptop MB, which literally was on fire. I had to buy a new laptop after that. Consider the risks before buying this battery!

Purchased for my Dell XPS 15 after original battery died. Found a good tutorial on replacing the battery on YouTube, and am pleased with the performance.

I ordered this replacement battery for my Dell XPS 15z laptop as the original stopped holding a charge. The battery was an easy install and had a slight charge when installed, so I was able to startup the laptop. It worked flawlessly. We have since fully charged the battery with very good results in life of the charge.

The first battery I ordered did not accept a charge. The replacement battery had a badly deformed plastic attachment tab, and I had to break it to install the battery. It was the top-center tab, and I figured that five tabs were sufficient to hold the battery securely. But it did accept a charge, and it looks as if the battery will last for at least 1.5 hours or so. The words "rechargeable" and "polymer" on the battery label were misspelled, and that doesn't inspire confidence in quality control.

I ordered because my original Dell OEM battery failed and PC would not run on battery nor charge. The SOLICE replacement battery arrived quickly, installed easily, an now takes a charge and allows PC to run on battery charge. I do not run my laptop without battery for long so I cannot attest to the length of the charge but it solved my problem.

A battery replacement at a good price with fast service. No problem installing.
