Pros:- Really nice cedar planks, it smells and looks really nice. Not sure how effective it is but I know cedar repels certain pests so that could be a plus as well- Easy to put together (using two people makes it a breeze, but it's doable with one)- Huge play area with planks to sit on top of sides- Comes with its own soft cover and bottom (however they are not super effective, see below)- We fit 900 lbs of sand in it, could easily fit moreCons:- Delivered with three broken planks. We were easily able to use wood glue on them to mend and they are solid. The company offered to replace them as well, still waiting for delivery on that- The black, water permeable, sheet for the bottom isn't connected to the sand box. We read reviews that indicted there were some issues with sand leaking out. Before we placed and filled it, we turned it over and used a staple gun to attach it to the bottom of the planks. Would highly recommend doing that but it still leaks a little regardless- It comes with a vinyl cover which stretches to cover. It's the very devil to put on and takes two people to get it done efficiently. It also comes off when it's windy. We are going to attach some 3m hooks to the cover and the outside of the sandbox to hopefully take care of that issue.Overall a really great purchase. The hardest part was lugging all the sand from the truck to the backyard. Company was very responsive to issues via email. Going to keep the review at 5 stars unless they don't come through on the replacement planks. Would highly recommend.

Easy to build and good quality materials. The sandbox itself is not heavy. We had rain couple days ago and the cover did its job of protecting the sand from getting throughly wet. The cover is not totally waterproof by all means but it is good enough. Place something heavy to hold it in place when you cover it. I used cinder blocks and put them on the benches.The height of the sandbox is about more or less 8 inches. I used 8 bags of play sand from Ace Hardware. (I suggest going no less than 8 bags) The sand was too fine so I wet it just enough that you can start making sand castle.

This sandbox is a great size for several kids to have plenty of space to play. It was very easy to assemble and 4 of the sides also provide perchable seats. It’s also large enough that we we able to also order a large foldable 67inch dia shallow wading pool to set up on the sand so as not to kill our grass and also have a nice soft kid friendly base. The included cover was useless. You will need to order a sturdier one that has a wire cable and winch to chinch it on. As this is cedar sided it looks quite lovely and I already have plans to turn it into a raised Succulent Bed as soon as the kids outgrow it! :)

My Husband put it together with no problems. I did help with a plank or two. The Cedar smelled amazing and it was easy to assemble. It is big in size and you Just hook the pieces together. The black tarp just lays on the bottom and you slide it under the wood. The tarp doesn’t really connect to anything which sucks, but I see people have stapled the tarp to their wood pieces. For us the sand only leaks out a bit in one area. The rest of the sides are good to go. It seems sturdy. I have 3 boys so they are all over the place, standing on the wood and everything in between. Our boys love it... from our 3 yr old, 5 yr old to our 10 yr old. I put the cover on no problem. It’s not the most durable cover, but it does the job and so far no complaints. Might invest in a better one... but we will see???? We used 600 lbs of sand from Lowe’s which was just $52. The sand box can take a lot more sand than 600lbs. We will be buying more sand. Just a note If you buy sand don’t get cheated out your money. The places selling sand between $400-$900 on Amazon and other sites...that is crazy and people are actually paying for it. Go to Lowe’s or Home Depot....just $52 for $600 lbs. I would highly recommend this product. It’s definitely worth the money. Kids love the sand. My boys are always digging up the dirt in my yard....this was an easy fix to that problem.

Great little sand box! Easy easy to put together. The liner was easy to install (used construction staples), but the cover lacks tiedowns. We have to weigh it down with toys to keep it from blowing away. The material is good, though. The box is big. The benches are just right for the kids.The kids LOVE this thing. We bought 1000 pounds of sand and it filled it just right. (Be careful of the sand! Ours turned out to be filled with dormant sand flea eggs. That was a nightmare, but salt and diatomaceous earth seemed to kill them off. Don't breathe in the diatomaceous; it's silica and will tear lung tissue. The earth DOES NOT get put in the sand! Only put SALT IN THE SAND!)

This was an upgrade from the Little Tikes turtle sandbox. We needed more space and this delivered. It was easy to assemble on my own and the directions were pretty straight forward. I used a staple gun to secure the black material on the bottom the the sandbox frame to keep same from coming out. I used about 16 50lb bags of sand to fill and honestly probably could have put more in. The cover is okay and has lasted so far. We do prop up the middle with their excavator toy to avoid water from pooling during rain storms. The only time it has blow off is during a really band storm with high winds but has served its purpose so far. It can comfortably hold 4 toddler with allowing them all enough room to have their own playing space. Very pleased and will update any changes as we continue to use it.
