A SOLID 4 STARS... PRETTY HAPPY SO FAR
First things first... The Ad Heading is incorrect - this is NOT an 18 speed bike, it's 14. It's clearly written that the bike is 14 speed in the body of the ad, but you could easily miss it. Another thing you shouldn't miss is the max rider weight of 220 lbs. I'm 5'10" and about 185 lbs. I really wasn't comfortable purchasing this company's 26" bike (too close to the 200 lb. max rider weight), so opted for this one instead.Second... if you think the bike is going to be 100% ready to ride out of the box after assembly, think again. This is true not only of this bike but of ALL bikes. Tightening needs to be done all around, brakes need adjustments, front and rear derailleurs need to be tuned and indexed. If you buy this or any bike for that matter off the internet, for your safety, get it adjusted by a professional. I tried doing the adjustments myself (via YouTube videos and I'm pretty handy)... yeah, I gave up. I found a guy on Facebook and has a little side business repairing bikes. He's got great ratings and a lot of followers so I'm going to give him a shot. A $50 investment in a simple safety check and tuning is nothing compared to getting stuck miles from home or worse yet, road rash. The unpacking actually took longer than the assembly! There's a ton of zippy ties and corrugate protective pieces that needed to be removed and discarded and I really took my time so that I wouldn't scratch the frame. I looked at somebody on YouTube put together another model from this company and it looked super easy and guess what?... it was! I think I had everything on in about 15 minutes. Now for the bike. Pretty solid ride. This is definitely NOT a hybrid or comfort bike - the drop handlebars make the ride position more aggressive and less upright. But, you do get three or four different riding positions with this kind of handlebar just by changing the position of your hands. The low riding position is comfortable if the seat and handlebars are installed correctly, plus this is actually a more efficient riding position (meaning you'll expend less energy to achieve the same amount of speed and distance). The tires are skinny, high PSI road tires and there's no suspension in the front fork so the ride is a lot less forgiving than a hybrid or a comfort bike. The seat, like most factory included seats, is just awful. I had a gel cover from my previous bike and sure enough I needed it on this one too.The fit and finish are very good and it's really is a nice looking bike overall. Although I have to wonder who thought white bar tape was a good idea? Even with clean hands it shows dirt. I love the matte black paint scheme. Although I couldn't get it 100% adjusted myself, I did get it good enough to take for a short 6 mile ride. It rides very nicely, is very responsive and stable at slower speeds, and it's solidly built. Not once did I feel unsafe riding it.The one feature that I bought this bike for in the first place ... folding ... I love it and at the same time hate it. I love it because it folds and fits into the trunk of my car (Nissan Altima btw) ... barely fits with a little room to spare for some other stuff. I hate it because it's not as easy as all that to fold and it's a little heavy & awkward to maneuver when folded. The hinge is tight, and that's a good thing but it makes it difficult to fold. Truth be told I'd rather have it difficult to fold than have it super loose. And don't forget... mark the seat and handlebar height with tape when assembled to make it easy to put it back in their respective spots when unfolding/reassembling.As far as value goes I'd say this bike is a substantial value... From what I've read, the derailleur components are pretty basic but good quality choices. The closest I could find to this size / configuration is a Montague folding bike at 2x the price. Larger folding bikes are not that common and ones that have 700c wheels, less so.All in all I'd say if you're looking for a good road bide that folds and want something full-sized, you'd have a difficult time finding something better for the $$$.

Great bike, but not exactly what I expected
I wanted a folding bike because I have a very small apartment and I thought a folding bike would be more space-efficient. Well, this bike doesn't quite do that for me. It folds into an awkward shape that doesn't fit in the closet space I had measure for it. If I had to do this again, I would opt for a smaller non-folding bike and get one of those racks that allow you to stand the bike vertically. Having said that, the real advantage of the folding feature is that it will fit neatly in my trunk, if I ever want to take it to another location, which I don't expect to do anytime soon. So, I have to confess that the main problem was wrongheaded planning on my part. So, what else don't I like? The biggest issue is that the Quick Release Lock doesn't stay locked. I just started riding it, so this problem may have existed from the beginning. It locks into place, then pops unlocked as soon as I start to ride. Is it dangerous to ride the bike with the Quick Release unlocked? I hope someone at the manufacturer can let me know. The handlebar is set up in an awkward way. Maybe it was meant for someone with bigger hands, but it just doesn't feel comfortable for me. I will also have to get a more comfortable saddle, but that was expected. But this bike is a wonderful, sturdy, confident ride. Once opened, it's a real bike and a joy to ride. It feels very sturdy, in spite of the Quick Release issue. And if it weren't for the warning on the frame stating that the Quick Release must be locked, I would think nothing of it.It's also a lot heavier and more awkward to carry when folded than I thought it would be.Now, we're talking $300 for the bike, then over $60 for shipping, then $80 to have it assembled by the local shop. For $440, I think I could have done better. Maybe buying a bike on the internet isn't such a good idea.UPDATE: Turns out there was nothing wrong with the frame quick release lock. I was locking it in the wrong position, so it was my fault that it wasn't staying locked. But now, I have a problem with the saddle, which the company's customer service (who are terrific, BTW) is helping me with. Still have to resolve that, and I'm sure I will. All of these issues could have been avoided if they had an instruction manual. For what I am spending, it seems like it would be included. Still not sure if I'm going to keep this bike -- I haven't decided if it's the right fit for me. I have had two bikes in my life before, and was totally in love with them. I am not in love with this thing, but I'm going to see if it grows on me. The repair shop said they threw the box away... so, I guess Amazon won't take it back. This is turning out to be a very expensive lesson.

NO INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED
Quite ridiculous that there are no instructions on how to fold the bike.

Awesome bike. It comes assembled for the most part
Awesome bike. It comes assembled for the most part. It's easy to put together and then you don't have to adjust the gears at least I didn't. And to add to that I have not had any problems with the gears. My last bike didn't shift very well and this one shifts very smooth. Now only if I can learn how to fold it LOL

Fantastic Bike
Easy to assemble, the only caveat is the kick stand is hard to disengage at first

Good bikes and company
Have two 2ksilver bikes. Good quality bikes and service. Nothing easier than folding a bike, keeping it in the car trunk and riding after work.

Great folding bike for the price.
Pros: Nice wheel size, enough gears to handle any road, and -in my opinion- the best folding bike at this price.Cons: No inner lever break at the handle bar and a bit awkward to fold.Took about an hour to assemble the bike and tweak all minor issues. I'm 5'7" and the ride feels very comfortable, and could easily see anyone from 5'5" to 5'9" feeling the same way.I've been riding this bike to work for a couple of days (3.5 miles each way) with no problems, but will probably have a pro look at it before I take it on an extended ride. In all honesty and with all things considered, I would rate this bike a 4.5 out of 5, but since half stars are not an option (and considering that the bike was a gift) a 5 star rating seemed fair.

great value for price
Great deal. Bike is easy to assemble. A little heavy but solid. Folds up easily. Well made. Would have liked longer seat post and quick release for front A keeper
