As a 90s teenager it is unbelievable how far press on nails have come!
After years of nail salon appointments, gel, dip powder and acrylics I decided to give my paper thin nails a break. The problem was that after removing the acrylics my natural nails were so thin and fragile that they kept tearing and breaking which became painful so I decided to try press on nails to cover them up. I read all of the reviews of multiple different brands and have used other Beetles nail products in the past (during Covid when the nail salons were closed) so opted for the B-Castles in the Air set. Initially I was going to simply use the glue which I am more familiar with from my 90s experiences but decided to give the adhesive a go and I couldn’t be happier. I am now 3 days in with zero issues thus far, which is remarkable considering how often my hands are in water and how much wear I place on my hands in my daily routine. The nail techs often comment that they can tell that I wash my hands a lot and am rough on my nails based on the condition of them during my routine fill-ins. I also take baths every day instead of a shower and was concerned considering that the removal instructions state to soak in warm water for only a minute. I do try to be a bit more conscious when bathing and will wear gloves when applying moisturizing oils, but otherwise have not changed much in my daily routine and the adhesive is still going strong. I even decided to try them on my toenails today which took quite a bit more shaping skills to accomplish, so I wish that they made a set specifically for toenails, but am hoping for similarly positive results for my toes. One review mentioned how fragile the nails are and they are considerably thinner than acrylics or gel and dip powder, which I love because they are lighter and more natural looking, but if you intend to leave them long I can definitely see where this would be a problem. The description states that they are short but they are quite long in my opinion, but were easy to trim and shape. If I can get close to a week out of a set I may mostly forgo salon appointments from here on out. I will probably go for a basic manicure/pedicure since I am not as adept at trimming my cuticles, shaping my nails and smoothing my soles as the professionals are, but this could translate to SIGNIFICANT cost savings over time, especially considering that multiple sets come in each box which is quite the value for under $15.00 … and especially if they work out on my toes as well. I might actually keep a repair kit in my purse in case one pops off, because they are so easy to apply and shape that it wouldn’t take much to simply fix it and go which is another huge plus because it eliminates the need for another salon appointment. As a 90s teenager who suffered through the press on nails of the time, I am pleasantly surprised to be recommending this product! Keep in mind that I have not tried the glue method, and hope to be able to avoid it altogether, so my review is based solely on the adhesive tabs.

Nice
So I bought these nails to use for gel x. They were still a bit square for my liking so I do file them into the shape I prefer. This does alter the integrity of the product making them bend a lot easier. I found that without filing the shape in any way, they last much longer and do not bend with regular use. So as they are, they are a great product. If you plan on shaping them, then Maybe consider a product closer to that shape since this won’t hold up well with the narrowing of the tip. I just layered another nail on top. It wasn’t too thick for my liking and was much sturdier.

Practice makes almost perfect
For me it took some practice, but I’d say I was a complete beginner at doing nails myself. I started with the medium almond. And loved it so much I got the short square and short ballerina shapes. Even still these are pretty long. I might even go for the extra short tips eventually. 1st and 2nd picture are Short length. See 3rd picture for reference: medium vs small. It also took me a few times of applying them to get the hang of it. 4th picture is medium almond.Anyways. Long story short. I am never going to pay for a salon manicure again.

Natural looking
I am very impressed with the sturdiness. I already ordered again. I had a lot of people ask if they were my real nails. It has a very natural look and length. The sizings close enough that I was able to get two sets from it. The adhesion is ok so far, does the job but I have lost a few nails after a three days. Also the polish used for the French tips did chip at the corner but I don’t mind so much. A clear top coat should keep that from happening.

Easy to use
I got these nails and they made my manicure process so much faster. They are gorgeous! No need for filing unless you are changing the size and shape of the nail. I recommend to allow a little space between the crutical of your finger and nail and fill with acrylic. This will allow you longer wear time and less breakage. Just gluing the nail by itself does not wear for 21 days as advertised.

Never going back to the salon!
I cannot say enough great things. It's pretty difficult to justify going to the salon and spending $50 for acrylics when you can do it yourself with this kit. Takes a little bit to get used to for sure and some practice but for $20 it pays for itself pretty quick.

Very good!
I really like these nails tips, they have enough sizes to fit my nails without doing any extra filing. I’m new at doing my nails myself but these lasted quite awhile. I really like the shape and length.
