The BEST starter kit around!!
So this was quite an ordeal getting a bead loom that was actually worse the money you paid for it but also worth the time that you spend hunched over working over it.I originally went to a couple of craft stores, joanne's, hobby lobby and Michael's. Hobby lobby didn't have any in stock, Michael said they had one on line but not available in store and Joanne's was a cheap rinky dink plastic one that served its purpose as far as allowing me to figure out what features were needed and what didn't matter. This metal bracket bead loom was carefully thought out and made very well. The only downfall I have is the little metal knobs that go in your wooden dowels come out very easily. I took a bit of b7000 jewelry glue added a dab in the hole as well as on the little metal knob and pushed it back into its place. Since then I haven't had any problem at all.But this kit comes with everything that you'll need!**I will say, getting UNIFORM beads are key****This kit does provide 15 plus bags of seed beads that can be used on the bead loom. They come in a multiple of colors in an array of Hughes. It also comes with instructions and two printouts of patterns to get you going. I recommend going and buying loose leaf graph paper or even a notebook to doodle in your own designs and to help keep them organized. The bead loom itself is very easy to set up to get your bracelet started. You tie one end of your string around one of those metal knobs and then thread it the middle spring over to the other side around that metal knob and back through the next spring and over and back until you have enough strings for your bracelet. Remember if your bracelet calls for six beads then you need seven strings, one more string then what your design calls for so that each of your beads has a string on both sides of it. The wooden dowels on each side have Wing nuts on one side of them to help you tighten and loosen for tension purposes. To tighten just loosen your wing nut turn your wooden dowel towards you and then tighten your wing nut. With this speed loom I haven't had a problem with the tension AT ALL!! Once I set the wooden dowels in the beginning I hadn't had to touch them again. For the money and all of the supplies that you get, this really is the best deal! This kit comes with beads two different types of strings scissors 10 individual silver trays for your beads to be separated into. Scissors and clasps! I cannot tell you how much I use the silver trays, I thought they'd be a nuisance but they don't easily tip over and it's easier for me to scoop beads out of them with the needle then in a bowl or a bag.

Pretty colors
Lots of beads! Only drawback is it came with no instructions. Had to search on internet for instructions on how to use.

Really fun to learn
So the loom itself is fine, little bit of a learning curve to figure it out. My only complaint about it is the beads that come with it are garbage. Very inconsistent sizing. So they are basically useful for learning how to use the loom. Once you get the hang of it and want to start making some nicer pieces I would recommend getting beads elsewhere.

Good starter but a bit flimsy
I like how this allowed me to introduce myself to the world of bead looming without spending a fortune on a hobby I wasn’t 100% sure I’d enjoy. It does allow you to make loom projects however I will say that the structure of it is very bendy and not super sturdy and so unless you string it gingerly and delicately it’s very easy to accidentally make the ends cave in and that makes the strings too loose to bead through effectively. The loops/duvets that hold the strings in place are also quite shallow and so the strings very often come out of place unless like I said earlier you are very delicate and ginger with it. Personally for me I think using a looming card might work a bit better than this particular loom if you’re wanting something that stays in place without much extra adjusting

Soooo cool
I love the crystal beads that come in this but the colors aren’t labeled so I have no idea how to find them. Instructions were on the box and Easy to figure out. This set comes with a ton of beads so I was able to complete 3 giant projects with plenty of beads left over. This just goes to show you that not all amazon reviews are accurate when they give a product 1 star… it’s because the person was too lazy to see the information right infront of them. I would definitely purchase again.

Poor quality, not worth the purchase
Parts are poor quality, scissors came already rusted in a sealed bag. Came with no instructions. Only contained clear plastic line and no basic string. The small amount of thick black string it did come with doesn't fit the needles. Only came with two very short needles, and bead size is VERY inconsistent. If you're going to put the effort into this hobby, find a different seller.
