We finally found a sling that met all of our criteria. This is number four and it's working great. We have a 15 year old blind and deaf pom so he can't walk on his own and we needed something that we could take him on our walks with us. The last three slings we tried fell short in other areas. We live in Arizona so they were either too hot, uncomfortable, not adjustable, or chokes are poor dog.. the sling is very comfortable, lightweight, the light color is beneficial here in Arizona so it doesn't get too hot, and since it's made out of cotton he doesn't get too hot.Are pom weighs 6 pounds and enjoys going for walks with us. I would have given this five stars except for one critique. The sling is just a little bit too shallow. We kind of worry about him jumping out. The other styles of slings that we tried were somewhat deeper. Otherwise, we are entirely happy with this purchase.

I have a lot of slings, carriers, and bags for my dogs, but this one is my favorite. The canvas fabric is perfect for the scorching summers in Texas. It is quite roomy, and I can fit my 4 pounder and 2 pound pup in it comfortably, although the larger one prefers his own space. The shoulder strap is wide, fitting across my shoulder instead of digging into it. I love that it is reversible, so I can choose what color to sport. And I also appreciate the two pockets for essentials like leash, travel wipe, wallet, and even an iPhone 6 Plus. My only issue with this is that the adjustable strap is so long for short people like myself, that I have to knot it a couple times just to keep it from dangling and getting in the way. I definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cooler option in summer months.

OMG I can't even begin to tell you how much my little mama loves this!!! I will pull it out of her little toy chest thing and she goes crazy and jumps all over me, and she usually thinks shes very independent. I was nervous about how she would like being carried around, but I could even take her in the stores with it!

My little yorkie loves being held. Now she can feel close and my arms are free to do whatever I need to do

Some animals may not feel secure and like ours constantly try to escape from the sling though there is an attachment for the animal's collar to stop this happening

I love it, my second sling in use. I would only recommend for lightweight small breeds, otherwise can be heavy to carry. This sling is brilliant when walking my 16yr old chi then scooping him up when tired. Also recommended as a sling to carry dog leads etc on walk and for the odd quick shopping trip for groceries. I just love it. I have used a couple of other carry bags but this one fits bill for lightweight pooches.

My small elderly Lhasa Apsos loves this carrier. She is secure and it leaves my hands free to hold my other dogs leads.

This is ideal, i use it all the time, my 6lb yorkshire terrier fits in it snugly.
