How can this be alive if it is sealed in plastic ?

In Evolution theory, germs, whether, bacterial, fungal, or viral, were the first "life" so they've been around for almost as long as the Earth has. They've had to weather all sorts of problems in that time. Most germs can form cysts or spore forms in dry or adverse conditions which reactivate when there is water available again. That's why they can still be alive while dried out. And that's also why there can be such a thing as the "Mummy's Curse" and it's not BS. Germs can live an incredible amount of time. I think some idiot scientists are currently trying to reactivate some Black Plague just to see if it will work. We'll know it worked if there's an outbreak. But they'll never admit it was on purpose. If you put on gloves, and are careful, I'm sure you can cut open the Not Really Plastic bag and pour it out into the toilet. I think they use it to keep you safe from the germs. But I agree with your concern that... how do I know it's plastic? I mean, I don't want to risk putting plastic down the john. Even if it's supposed to dissolve. So cut it open if it worries you. Just have respect for the critters and don't get them on you.

I am about to purchase another years supply of this septic treatment. It is working as advertised. When I bought this product three months ago, my system was failing. The grass on the cover has returned. Over the cover is now dry (not swampy). It is not expensive and it works!

Will this product work in my green cone solar composted? I have it in my vegetable garden.

Absolutely, it will help produce, activate, and recharge the enzymes needed to decompose solids... One quick recommendation: if there isn't a lot of liquid in your composter, I'd suggest opening the packet and sprinkling the contents instead of waiting for the packet to break open by itself. If there are plenty of liquids, then dropping the entire packet in will work just fine!

Well worth your money to keep your septic balanced!

These septic tank treatment pods were recommended to me by a co-worker. They are easy to use, just place into your toilet and flush, and do this once a month. Before I bought these, I was noticing a smell coming from my basement pump that goes to my septic. I used this about 2 weeks ago and I have noticed the smell is gone. This treatment offers the bacteria balance the septic needs. This is definitely worth your money and quite effective in a timely manner.

This is working well with my septic tank. It's very easy to use. One flush per month. I've been using this product for a couple of years now. I haven't had to have my septic tank cleaned out yet.

Slow drains and toilets - try these!

Super thrilled with how effective these little pods are. I have a septic system and couldn’t even tell you where it is in my yard. I’ve never needed it serviced. I recently got two roommates and started WFH, whereas before I lived alone and was gone 50+ hr a week. Needless to say the plumbing in my house has been starting to run a bit slow and my shower drains started to smell. Before calling a septic company, I tried these monthly pods as before I only used yeast and buttermilk to maintain my system. The plumbing issues and smell cleared up within two days.
