Excellent book. So much cheaper than the college book stores. It is a good basic information technology book. You can’t go wrong purchasing this book.

I used this book for my computer information systems class and it was a nice supplement to the teacher’s slides. It easy easy to read and will probably end up buying the actual book.

Used this book for a class and while I already had the book apparently the book I ordered was the international edition. I needed a quick book to reference for the case studies and this one did the trick. Rental. Worked as it was meant to.

Bought this book for a class. I like that this was offered as a kindle version because other sites only offer a web browser reading option.

I needed this for a college class and I was happy to find it a little cheaper.

First and foremost, as a slow reader and an extremely auditory learner taking an online course with no audio lectures, I was extremely disappointed that the book does not come with a read out loud function, and locks out the user's ability to open it on any type of OCR compatible device or program.For those thinking you would be able to copy and paste the content to get read out loud functionality, think again, as there is a copy restriction that limits how much you can copy (no doubt to combat piracy - which is completely acceptable, but also annoying simply because it was the only way to get any type of text to speech capability that I've found). As I tend to retain the things I hear better than the things I read, being able to listen to the book would have made my learning experience much better. Luckily, I don't necessarily need that functionality but this etextbook would have been completely useless for someone with major visual problems.For such an expensive textbook, there were also quite a few annoying spelling and weird formatting issues. Sadly, this is required reading for a class I am taking so I guess there is no choice but to grin and bear it.
