It has a very nice sturdy glass frame. It was better than I expected. The color of the flames are perfect and it looks great. I wanted to kind of “create my own” look so I bought a TV stand separately and hid the cords inside the stand instead of buying a TV stand with a built in fireplace. The wall mount looks so much nicer and I don’t regret picking this one at all!

The flame affect looks more realistic that I thought it would. Really like it a lot! I recommend placing it on a wall at eye level when you are seated on your furniture for best affect, also a distance of about 8+ feet helps. Viewing at an angle you miss some of the projected light. This will take two people to install as it weighs 65 lbs and one person has to hold it up while the other takes measurements and and makes wall markings. Absolutely use a 'level' device when marking your wall and check it three times. Once that baby is on the wall, it's there to stay. I highly recommend heavy wood screws into the wall studs. The metal plate will accommodate a few inches on either side. You'll understand when you see all the parts. The downside is the instruction manual. Very poorly presented. Just a bunch of arrows pointing at things. I believe you can download this manual here on AMZN. Just study the pictures carefully and make sure you understand what goes where before your next step. The biggest challenge for me was how to get the front screen off to load the rocks and twigs. After 30 minutes we figured it out. One screw on EACH side of the unit and three screws on top. Use all the clear ones and the orange and black ones sparingly. The Orange/Black ones make a nice affect. Place the logs carefully, they will fall off the rocks before you get the glass back up. You'll see. I do recommend this product, everyone I've showed it to loves it!

Used above our couch in a huge feature wall. It’s so pretty and kind of like a mirror it’s so shiny. It’s August so I haven’t used it but will surely enjoy this winter. Will wrap the cord with rope or something to hide it

There were no instructions included on the diy part & you must take it apart to install the faux coal & wool. Instructions on how to take the front off would’ve been helpful. Otherwise it’s great!!👍🏼

If you are looking for a fireplace that heats a room look elsewhere. This one only runs for about 5 minutes at a time when you turn it on. Also, you can’t just turn it on and let it run as you much as you want. Once it gets to a certain temperature (which is never correct, btw) it shuts off. And I’m not even sure why they have options for the fire and coal appearances. You select one and it just does whatever it wants lol. The heat comes out of the top so don’t even think about putting a TV above it unless it’s a good 18”-24” above it. Very disappointed in this product considering the cost and installation process.

The media could not be loaded. Love the look so much! You definitely need two people to install if you are putting it up high. This model the instructions didn't provide how to get the lava rocks and wooden decor on the inside I found a video online showing that you have to remove the entire glass facing to then add the decor inside. Once I removed the facing it made it so much lighter to hang which was great because by now my son gave up helping me lol I recommend adding extra screws since it was hung high.It's easy to use and love the color options also very quite. I have an open area so the heating produce was sufficient for my space! I get lot's of compliments on it which is the real reason I bought it 😁

We and all our guests love this fireplace.it was easy to mount on the wall and I enjoy all the flame options. Came quickly and was well packaged. Please note that to add the acrylic stones you remove the silver screws (3 on top and 1 on each side) and remove the front glass. When placing the front glass back be cautious of the springs on the bottom right side which correlate with manual adjustments on the front of the fireplace. You can easily catch the front glass on them sliding the front glass down into place. I found it best to put a piece of packing tape across springs so the glass goes on smoothly. The tape can remain on them and doesn't effect the operation of the controls. The remote is perfect for operation and you don't need the manual controls anyway but they do still work with the tape in place under the glass and of course it isn't visible from the outside.
