Expensive but worth it!
I bought this originally for a kid who was too young to not swallow fluoride toothpaste. I immediately loved how it wasn't bright white (after finding out that the ingredient that makes other toothpaste that color is toxic and potentially hazardous). The flavor is mildly sweet and fruity. It doesn't foam up as much as other toothpastes will which I kind of like. The biggest reason this is worth the money is because of the hydroxyapatite. That ingredient is amazing because it remineralizes teeth better than fluoride. I went down a rabbit hole of researching the ingredient and saw that it performs better than fluoride for cavity repair. Also, I had used Colgate sensitive toothpaste for years due to cold intolerance when chewing but didn't think it ever helped all that much. After using this for approximately six months, my sensitivity is improved so much that I can chew a cold grape from the fridge! That might not be a big deal for most people, but with my sensitive teeth I never thought I'd be able to do that again! So yes, the price is ridiculous for toothpaste, but this stuff is worth it. If you're worried about cavities or sensitivity or toxic ingredients, this is the toothpaste for you.

Tasty, natural ingredients, flourid free, cleans well, kid approved
Wonderful toothpaste for seasoned brushers or brushers in training. I started both my kids out on this toothpaste when they were reluctant to allow me to brush their teeth. My second child had a head full of teeth kind of early so it was important to start brushing ASAP. Being not as easy to accept brushing as the first, the toothpaste made brushing more of a treat! Nice natural ingredients. No dyes, no metallic flakes for glitter. No fluoride. A very clean safe product. It also cleans teeth well. Slight hint of mint ish teast, overall a low power hint of berry. Coconut based so it's vegan if that's important. I've personally used it and feel like it cleans pretty well. Hope this review helps!

Non-Toxic
In the beginning of brushing with this toothpaste, the flavor and freshness are good, but that and the thicker texture dissipate too quickly...like chewing gum that loses its flavor. It leaves my teeth feeling clean and looking white and though it is a bit more expensive, I really love that it is all natural and free of toxins, phalates, etc.

Kids love it!
My daughter (4) loves toothpaste, maybe too much. I looked for a toothpaste with clean ingredients in case she swallowed a little bit when she brushed her teeth. This toothpaste is perfect! Both kids love it and it actually works. They have been using this for almost 2 years now and both kids have no cavities at every dentist visit. I recently ran out and tried another brand because it was all I could do till I got my Amazon delivery. It was an immediate no from my daughter. She refuses to use anything other than Mr. Brite. She loves the taste and I love that it's safe and does what it's supposed to do, keep their teeth clean and healthy. Thankfully it was a super quick 2 day delivery even though the shipping estimate was 5-7 days.

Likes: Safe to eat; doesn't hurt sensitive teeth; not messy
Dr. Brite Mint Natural Whitening Toothpaste with Activated Coconut Charcoal and Vitamin C (5 Oz) (Pack of 3) Received over 3 weeks ago on August 16, 2019, packaged well, and started using that day, alternating here and there with old toothpaste (Hello brand). The color of the paste is a beige color, which did throw me off initially but I ignored the “unconventional look.” It doesn’t foam like the typical big brand pastes (Colgate, Crest, etc). That didn’t bother me though. Actually makes less mess I think. I put the paste on my electric toothbrush and first wipe it on my teeth before turning on the toothbrush and beginning to brush. The taste is mild and pleasant. I like the fact it’s edible though I’ve not tried eating it. I’ve been trying to slowly switch out all our products with safer options, using EWG.org as a guide. Found Dr. Brite this way. My teeth feel like a good cleaning after using this. I have sensitive teeth and I don’t find any sensitivity with this paste. Other pastes actually cause pain sometimes as I place it on my teeth. The other brand of toothpaste we’ve been using is Hello toothpaste. We’ve tried the Sensitivity Relief Fluoride and Activated Charcoal Teeth Whitening Fluoride Free ones. The sensitivity paste was actually helping and I believe did whiten my teeth. Both my husband and I like it. We didn’t really notice much change in teeth color with the charcoal version but didn’t really use it that long. We hated the mess of the charcoal, black spots went everywhere on the counter and mirror while brushing and rinsing. Oddly, after years of using Hello sensitivity with good results, my teeth started to hurt when I placed the paste on them. A combination of the sensitivity and charcoal helped. (Plus it’s helping get rid of the leftover charcoal paste.) But I started to research different options. I like how Dr. Brite is giving me the activated charcoal benefits without the black mess. Not noticed a change in color of my teeth yet, but I am considering ordering more of their other products to test them out. I will also probably continue buying Dr. Brite and alternating with Hello Sensitivity. Overall, I like it, but haven’t used it long enough to see longterm results. Photos: - the color of Dr. Brite toothpaste - Hello’s newest bottle has a lid similar to Dr. Brite’s: flip top, but both Hello pastes make a huge mess of the lid. The toothpaste on the top of the lid strings down to the base as we open the lid. Dr. Brite’s isn’t as messy; I think due to being a thicker consistency. Great products!
I started using Dr. Brite toothpaste, mouthwash and dry mouth spray a few months ago hoping it would help heal my dry mouth and tongue along with my sensitive gums and the products did just that! The sensitivity is gone, the cracks on my tongue are healed and my teeth/gums look and feel great! I love the mellow taste of the toothpaste and the fact that I don't have the mess of a black charcoal toothpaste. The mouthwash and dry mouth spray have a pleasant taste also. The whitening is gradual but well worth the wait.....no more nasty bleach in my mouth as I'm sure that didn't help with the dry mouth and sensitivity issues I've been dealing with for years! Thank you for your amazing products Dr. Brite!

Good option for a natural toothpaste, but didn't notice whitening effects
I'm very conscious about the cosmetic products I'm using, and toothpaste is definitely a category I want to use more natural products. The Dr. Brite toothpaste does have quite natural and clean ingredients. The toothpaste contains activated charcoal, but I think it's a very small quantity. The paste in itself has just a hint of grey color and I can tell it has charcoal. But it's not like brushing teeth with actual charcoal and I didn't noticed any whitening effect. Being glycerin and coconut oil based, the toothpaste barely makes any foam. It's not like the regular toothpaste consistency, is somewhat oily/silicony, somewhat coating the teeth while brushing. It's something one needs to get accustomed to, but I still can feel my teeth being decently cleaned. People that have experimented with oil pulling for dental care might be familiar with the sensation of using such product. After half a minute of brushing, the paste almost vanishes; although I know the glycerin and coconut oil are still there, lubricating the teeth and doing their `magic`, I do prefer a toothpaste that holds some consistency while brushing. The glycerin and coconut oil make the teeth feel very smooth after brushing. But this is the `natural` toothpaste experience in the end, one should not expect this type of toothpaste to work like `regular` toothpaste. The taste has a hint of mint, nothing too refreshing; but I do like the fact that the flavor is mild and not sweet. If I want more freshness I can follow with a mouthwash. But it's not like my breath smell bad after brushing my teeth, it's just that I don't get that minty refresh and cooling afterwards. My biggest dental concerns are plaque and gum bleeding; along with my regular routine (flossing, using an electric toothbrush, rinsing with mouthwash), I continued to keep plaque under control and didn't have any gum bleeding while using this toothpaste. This is not a bad product by any means, but it depends on what people want or look in a toothpaste. This would definitely be a good option for children or people who want natural stuff and don't mind the experience of using this type of toothpaste.

Favorite toothpaste
I love this toothpaste. It is the cleanest organic, natural, and inexpensive toothpaste I have found. This paste does not taste bad and makes my mouth feel fresh. I have ordered it twice and I will continue to do so. I use it with the Brite Mint Mouthwash. I feel like some people don't like this product because it does not get super foamy and just kind of melts in your mouth, but that is because it does not have sulfate in it. A clean product is more important to me than having a foamy mouth when I brush my teeth. Natural and clean ingredients is my motto. It keeps my breath fresh all day.
