Q: Will it to heat soup up

Yes, it could be used to heat up soup, but I probably wouldn't recommend it as, being almost 8" square, it can be a little awkward to handle when pouring out anything from it. There is no spout, but a corner would work but make sure you remove the power lead before lifting it.

Q: How deep is the inner dimension from the bottom up to the rim.

It's 13cm but actually deep for cooking is 9cm

Q: Hi , can i use this in canada as their voltage is 120 v ?

I think so but not sure about if you need a adapter for the power supply
