Great build quality and looks perfect on my dresser. The bulb it comes with is perfect as well, I wish I knew where I could find a replacement!

I chose to give this item 5 stars because it is exactly as advertised - a nice, heavy, industrial design, if that is what you are looking for. Prompt delivery too.Two FYI's to the prospective buyer. First, the red handle is decorative, it does not control the light. There is a dimmer switch on the cord that turns the light on and off.Second, the 40W bulb that comes with the lamp produces very little light. As such, the lamp is more of a decorative light or a night light. It is not bright enough to be used as a desk lamp. I asked the seller if you can use a higher wattage bulb. The seller responded, saying you can use a 60W bulb. Maybe I'll buy one and give it a try. On the plastic housing of the dimmer switch on the cord, it says "Max 300W Min 50W". I'm not sure if that's the rating for the switch or for the entire lamp. Maybe an electrically-inclined individual can comment on that. In the meantime, 60W seems the safest choice.

Definitely exceeded my expectations. There are two bulbs included and the dimming feature is great. Well built and looks amazing. No complaints whatsoever.

This lamp was purchased as an accent light for my porch. It arrived well wrapped in bubble wrap and in perfect condition. The finish on the wood base and the iron pipe are attractive and work well together. The dimmer switch is a great feature that makes the lamp capable of creating a pleasant atmosphere while the cage "shade" and the Edison bulb add to the attractiveness. This well built lamp is not suitable for a reading light, but great for anyone wanting to create atmosphere.

Bought this for someone for Christmas. It lights up really nice and had that "old timey" feel in the bulb. The cord is also wrapped in a brown material to match the light. My only suggestion would be to give the option for rubber feet so it doesn't move. Other than that it's a nice little industrial light.

I very much enjoy the look of this lamp. It’s exactly the look they I wanted. The bulb they came with the lamp broke when I tried to screw it in, but I had already purchased extras. My only slight problem is the topper - the one that folds out and creates the “shade.” In the pictures, it looks somewhat bronze / gold. Mine is a shiny black. I’ll probably end up spray painting it so that it matches the picture. Overall, I’m happy. It just might take a bit of work to get it exactly how I want.

First of all, I love this little lamp. As soon as you open the box you know you have something unique and special. It has a lot of character.I have it set up my desk next to my computer in my "Man Cave." I grab a good 18 year old scotch, turn this lamp on low and listen to some good tunes on my headphones. Good times.Highly recommended!!!Two minor suggestions to make it better would be to put the switch a little closer to the lamp itself. I need to reach under my desk to turn it on. If the valve in front turned this thing on it would be absolutely perfect. Very minor.

Came exactly as I hoped, with the free bulb to try and the dimmer works well. The little red knob also twists very gently, despite not controlling the dimming or light.I saw this lamp and thought it would be perfect, turns out it is! The bulb gives off a low, warm light and it is perfect to nap in.

Arrived with light bulb smashed to a million pieces. Lamp was very well packed but they just threw the bulb in as a last thought with no protection. Pipes are not straight but can live with it. Very cool lamp.

I painted the side bit green to go with my Slimer! I love how sturdy the lamp is and the dimmer is perfect. The bulb it comes with does get hot but I bought a “dimmable LED Edison Bulb, 40 Watt Equivalent 450 Lumens, ST64 Filament Bulb” pack and it works perfectly and does not heat up.
