This digital cooking thermometer is a great asset to outdoor cooking. Easy to use and works great.

I have returned this unit, primarily as the second probe wouldn't register on the display. However, I also found the instructions poor at best and for anyone who has less than perfect vision, you'll find just reading the instructions to be difficult due to their small print size. And like most digital read-outs this one becomes impossible to read unless your eyes are on the same level as the display. This could have been prevented had the base featured some kind of tilt that would lean the unit backwards slightly. But since it does not do that, you wont' be able to stand beside it and read it unless you're willing to bend over. A poor design and a non-functioning probe make this a definite pass.

Christmas feast ruined with undercooked meat. This was a replacement for a thermometer that died. Wish is had the.old one back because this one can't get temp correct.

Love it, works like a charm. Not having to open the grill to check the meat temperature is clutch. Great product
