Been using for some time, great stuff. Smells great, only need a little bit, hair combs smoothly without tangles.

I have thin fine hair that lacks volume and can get a bit frizzy with the wrong products, so I was excited to see what this hair thickening serum could do for me. After washing and conditioning my hair, I dried it with a towel before brushing it free from tangles. The instructions instructed me to rub 2-3 drops of serum between my hands and apply it to clean damp hair. Easy enough, but not easy at all. Three drops felt like I got zero coverage even though the product feels oily, so I eventually used three small squirts on my thin shoulder-length hair. After blowing it dry, I expected my hair to be full of volume. It wasn't. However, when I ran my fingers through it, the hair itself felt thicker than usual. Surely I didn't imagine that. I pulled my hair into an elastic and sure enough, my ponytail wasn't quite as thin as usual! I still had to use a flat-iron because the serum did nothing to help control frizz, so that was a bummer. However, my hair did have a nice sheen to it and each individual hair felt stronger and more plump; perhaps that can be attributed to the promise of added texture, and maybe my hair was so thirsty that it soaked up all of the goodness. The serum is full of nutrients with Vitamin B5, wheat proteins, and amino acids. There are also quite a few herbs, and this blend contains no alcohol and no artificial colors. I plan to occasionally use this serum with the hope that my hair will grow stronger and healthier. The 4 ounce bottle isn't going to last long based on the amount that I'm using, but in order for all of my hair to be fed these nutrients, I feel like I require more product to have adequate coverage. It has a strong scent floral scent that I find nice, but if you're sensitive to fragrances, it might be overpowering.

I have long but very fine hair (baby-fine, really) that is oily near the scalp and dry at the ends. I wash it every day as otherwise it is limp, flat & greasy looking the next day. I've had some luck with volumizing shampoos and conditioners, but most serums and oils just weigh my hair down or make it look greasy. This serum sounded as if it would be worth a try as the product description mentioned only a few drops were needed. I didn't have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised that this serum does indeed make my hair look a bit thicker and gave it more volume. The results were subtle, but I think my hair looked much nicer than it usually does and it feels somehow fluffier. It felt soft and smooth, too. Best of all, the serum did not look or feel oily at all. I usually air-dry my hair, so I haven't yet tried blowing it out to see if that would boost the volume even more. I'll eventually do that, but for now, I'm happy enough with the results I did get. I like what this does for my hair on a temporary basis, and I'm wondering if there will be long-term benefits as well. I will be happy to use up the bottle, which will probably take quite a while since I need to little per application. The current price of $16.99 for a four-ounce bottle was also a nice surprise as it is so affordable. I will definitely buy this again.

Anything for the hair that contains some sort of oil always has me treading carefully. Most of my life I've had hair that got oily way to easily. Plus, it's very thin and gets limp and dirty looking when it's overly conditioned or the least bit of oil makes contact. Have to be careful when using body and face lotions for the same reasons. It's so fine that usually I'm better off not using a hair conditioner because it weighs down my hair too much and just doesn't work well. It also often makes my hair get dirty way too fast. Depending on the shampoo that I use, I might need to use a conditioner, but only on the length portion of my hair or it's back washing my hair again all too soon. Recently, I've been experimenting with products such as these on my hair to protect the length portions, especially when not using a conditioner. With the oil listings on this, I proceeded cautiously with the idea that I'll just have to wash my hair the next day if it got too oily. Surprisingly, it worked great on my hair. Also, it does not make it oily at all. I do really like adding some of those vitamins directly to my hair. Still too soon to know how much of a long term effect this will have on my hair, but I plan to continue using the entire bottle and maybe even more if I see worthwhile results.. This is clean and easy to drop the only 2-3 drops into your hand that they suggest using. I would suggest that if you have a lot of thick hair that you use more. Start light and get to know the product and proceed from there. There was no oiliness left behind in my hair once this absorbed. Was easy to brush my hair after use and it looked good. Can't say that I saw any extra sheen, but that may happen if I use a little more. Not that I want to go overboard either. So far I'm pretty happy with the hair product. It's easy to use and my hair seems to like what it does.
