Mary Berrys Complete Cookbook

Wife LOVES Mary Berry and has watched millions of her videos on YouTube (slight exaggeration) so figured this would be a great Christmas present and even though a bit expensive, it was one of her favorite presents. It’s a very nice, well made, heavy book with many great recipes. Note though, one reviewer noted the recipes use UK measurements so best to have some type of scale or method of conversion to US measurements.

I bought this cookbook as a gift for my husband after we watched several Mary Berry cooking shows and series. He loves it. The cookbook was a bit pricey, but it includes 650 recipes. (Be advised, however, that not every recipe you've seen on her shows may be included in this "Complete" cookbook--there were a few we were looking for that are not in this 600+ page book.) The beautiful color pictures make the recipes so appealing--they give you a goal to shoot for. For the most part, the ingredients are "normal" things one can easily buy or may already have in the kitchen. The measurements are provided in US equivalents. The only downside is that the oven temperatures are provided only in C, so, being metrically challenged, we need to google the temperatures to convert to F--I'm sure we'll learn how to do this with time. And Mary is just so adorable--her personality comes through even in writing. Can't wait till husband starts making some recipes from it!

I love Mary Berry and just received my long desired cookbook. It was expensive, but I was shocked by the quality. For a long time book quality has been cheapened and often they are so bad I don't keep them. This book is the exception. The cover is solid, the paper is thick and glossy, there are lots of beautiful color photographs and there are even 3 ribbon bookmarks. This book is going to last for generations. On the recipes - The book is filled with a wonderful variety of recipes I will actually make for my family! I know the holiday season will be filled with selections from this cookbook and expect they will be very well received. No weird or overly complicated ones, just good cooking at its finest. Merry Berry and her printer have produced a book they can be proud of. If you have a cook in your life, this book would make an exceptional gift for them.

A great cookbook.

English food has never been described as fantastic but this cookbook handles it well. There are plenty of pictures of dishes that I will look forward to trying. The only concern is that some recipes utilize obscure ingredients that may not be in my local grocery store

Regretfully I had to return this. All ingredients are listed in British measurements and not in US measurements.

Great product, quality and price. Easy to use cooking recipes with excellent illustrations, instructions and pictures.

Great booo but very very heavy. If you dont use it you can lift weights

Well organized, good support on how to cook, various recipes from different countries. It was more than expected and glad to have it in my cook library books. I knew Mary Berry from tv shows and it was a joy to see her cooking.

A really great cooking book, its perfect, for beginners and advanced. Can only suggest this book to all who love cooking and want to try out good old and new recipes.

Is perfect for every ocassion, it has all you need to know with tons of recipes, a must have!
