Perfect function. It’s not too big, easy to use.I’ve sealed up lots of soup with it no problem. I even sealed a bag of water just to test it. No problem.Being able to custom make every bag for whatever I’m vacuuming is a really nice feature. Make small bags for single servings of salsa or throw a whole seasoned roast for a sous vide cook. No problem.The one hand close and lock is also a nice feature and the double seal has worked for me every time even if I didn’t clean that area of the bag very well.Can really put some pretty heavy vacuum on stuff if you want but has settings for three different levels of vacuum.

I have owned several vacuum sealers over the years, they have all failed after a month or two, yes they were half the price so they’re saying is really true. You get what you pay for!I’m glad I read the reviews and did my research. This vacuum sealer is the very best one I’ve ever bought well worth the price! It came very well packed. Everything was complete in the package, I read the directions and watched a couple YouTube videos really helped make the difference. I’ve had it now a few weeks and it is working flawlessly!Make sure you use the right bags and the correct settings and it will store your food perfectly, I especially like the pulse feature. I’m glad I decided to go with this brand as it has been working flawlessly! Go ahead and spend the extra money. It will be well worth it in the long run…

The vacuum is strong and seals quickly and well even with wet products.

I've used Food Savers in the past and they just don't seem to last. I returned the 3rd one I purchased because it stopped sealing in less than 30 days and decided I'd pay more for this one even without reviews. So far I am not disappointed. There are gentle suction and extended vacuuming along with a marinate cycle. I dud not purchase the canister vac, so can't comment on that.I garden so have lots of veggies to freeze including, of course, tomatoes and zucchini. Both are very water heavy. The food saver just can't handle these IMHO. The moisture tray is not deep enough or wide enough. I do like that the tray is removable...it is not on the Seatao, which is a downside. However the tray is a bit further back from the sealer and is deep and wide enough to roll up two half size sheets of Bounty and stuff in the tray. If you try this,do not cover the hole on the left side of the tray. You may also need to manual seal after the initial seal, but you can do it without reclosing the handle that you cannot do with the Food Saver.I LOVE the double seal. The seals around the lower and upper trays remove for easy cleaning. Downside is the lower tray does not.I purchased this unit just over a year ago in August 22. I don't use it all that often. But today completely stopped vacuuming. Supposedly there is a 5-year warranty on this as it is a commercial unit. I've sent you a message but I have no idea how you will respond through Amazon. So I'm posting this here. Please let me know what the next steps are.

I ordered a Seal-a-meal first to replace an old one that I used for years and eventually burned it out. The replacement came, I unpacked it threw the box away, and put it on the shelf. My mistake a month later after coming back from a long trip, I used it and it didn't work...threw it away.They I ordered this one. It has a smaller profile, which I like. It is easy to use after the initial learning curve.My problem with it is that it is slow. Usually when I need to use it I have quite a lot to seal, and this seems painfully slow to me. It does do the job however, so I kept it. Practicing patience!!

I never knew how much i needed a vacuum sealer until I actually got this. It was very easy to use. I use this product multiple times a week from simply marinating foods to meal prepping for the whole month. The manual suction and sealing was perfect for getting every put of air out of the bag and that help keep food fresher longer. I had one oops when sealing my first wet bag and made a little mess but the to clean this machine was too easy. I already convinced my sister to get one and I plan on buying this same product for my mom
