I bought this a few months ago and I wasn't too thrilled at the beginning, the ball kept getting stuck and I felt it either had too much length on the cord or too little sand, I opted to tie knots on the line to shorten the length of the ball and it took a few tries to get the hang of it, you have to find your rhythm swinging your hips like a hula hoop and after that, it was just a matter of how much I could do. I was not very good and unable to keep it going for more than 2-3 minutes so I've increased little by little and so far I've been able to keep the ball spinning for 15 minutes. It is fun to challenge yourself to last more than the last time and you feel your legs, arms, and butt working out with this thing. It does seem like the wheels inside wear off the inside of the hoop with every spin so we’ll see how long it last.Well.. it finally happened! The little gear broke, I wish they would sent this with extra parts or instructions to fix it.

I love my hula hoop! I have lost inches off my way. The workout is super easy. My kids love it. The noise level is OK. I don’t really pay attention to it due to the fact that I listen to music while I do it it’s easy to dance with it it is comfortable. It’s not too hard on the skin and I have very sensitive skin. It is worth your money. I was a size 20 now I’m a size 16.

I've been seeing these devices all over social media lately and while it looks fun and easy to do, it can take some practice to get the hang of it. I could never do a hulu hoop as a kid, but since this fits more snug and it's a weight you're spinning I thought I could do it. I'm only a few days into doing this and its taken some trial and errors to get the hang of it. At first I tried it sitting more on my hips and a little loose, well that didn't work, because the weight wouldn't spin right. So I have tightened it up so it's very snug and sits higher and I can get it to spin about 10 rotations before it gets hung up. I've had some illnesses and injuries the past few years that has kept me sidelined from working out like I used to do. After using this for a few days, I'm working my way up to doing it for 30mins at a time (its harder then it looks) I can feel it working in my back and hips and even a little bit in my abs.When using this, it's important to make sure you have enough room to spin freely so the weight doesn't hit anything. Beware of your pets, it could hit them too.

No matter what I do the weighted ball does not spin. I have had several people try it all with the same result— it gets stuck, or caught and will not spin smoothly.

The color is gorgeous. It feels fake but it hasn’t broke yet so I guess it’s good. It’s lightweight and it fits pretty well around me and I’m a 3X. It’s hard to get the ball around the loop. I don’t know if it’s because I’m new at it or what but my mom is able to so it must just be me. The assembly is easy. All you have to do is latch it into place and it fits together.

This product works really well so far. I've used it maybe 4-5 times, and while the noise level is a bit higher than I'd like, it was easy to install and easy to use. I have a lot of fun using this, and I'm sure that it works just as well as the expensive version. If you hoop outside, bounce around some while using this, it's a great way to get in some cardio while also tightening your core muscles. I plan to do this 3-4 times a week for 30 minutes a day, and this has not let me down so far! I can feel it working as my abs flex. Remember to keep your core tight while you're exercising! (Also, I read a review that said that the ball had nothing filled in it, but that is absolutely not the case with the one I got.)

It comes with 30 links as described I weight 200 pounds and only needed to use 26 and it still felt a little loose. You do need to get the hang of it at first and don't panic if it feels like it might fall while you're using it that is just the links reacting to the rotation movement. This was a real workout I only did 30min and I was sweating bullets excellent product.P.S. I did have to swing the weight first just to get it going but, once you start moving it won't stop unless you lose the rhythm or stop.

This weight-loss item is a great invention. However, for me it is more difficult to use than I thought. I am a larger person and although there is plenty of links, I felt it hard to get the spin going. I had to move my body quite vigorously to keep it up and when I did, i couldn't keep it going for longer than 2-3 min at a time. My knees & feet suffered more from trying to keep my body in motion at a pace that allowed it to stay spinning. I don't think this should be so complicated. I am discouraged now. Advertisement shows skinny people that barely need to move for proper operation. I personally struggled (I am 5ft 6in/240lbs).
